Tabletop gaming this year will be location in the Hyatt Regency O’Hare on the International Level (lower lever).
Cephalofair
Hyatt Regency O'Hare: Heathrow
Making their debut at Anime Central, Cephalofair will be setup in Heathrow where you can play their tabletop games. Gloomhaven is an award-winning board game known to most people with any interest in tabletop games, there have been multiple spin off games and a video game made after it. In addition to Gloomhaven, this year Cephalofair is debuting a new spin off card game Gloomhaven: Buttons and Bugs.

We are pleased to announce a special launch and celebration of The Black Ballad. You Died. Now What? Storytellers Forge Studios will be presenting a host of special events all weekend long, hosted by musicians, writers, and voice actors from across the industry. If you are curious about the inner workings of the gaming industry, how to get started, or just looking for the perfect excuse to TPK your party, Rick Heinz (GM Tips, Geek & Sundry, Nerdist, and more) will be speaking or running workshops! But if shiny mathrocks and beautiful campaign books are more your speed: find ST Forge in the exhibitor hall at Booth 413!

Evanston Go Club
Hyatt Regency O'Hare: Florence
Join the Evanston Go Club in Tabletop Gaming on Friday and Saturday to learn to play the world’s oldest and most challenging board game. Go has been played for thousands of years and was considered one of the “Four Accomplishments” in China, along with calligraphy, painting and music. It is played by hundreds of millions of people around the world and became popular in the U.S. through the anime Hikaru No Go.
Go is easy to learn, yet challenging to play well. The rules are the essence of simplicity, yet they result in endless possibilities. There are more possible Go games than there are subatomic particles in the known universe. Chess grandmaster Edward Lasker has said, “While the Baroque rules of chess could only have been created by humans, the rules of Go are so elegant, organic, and rigorously logical that if intelligent life forms exist elsewhere in the universe, they almost certainly play Go.”
Mahjong

The Chicago Area Mahjong will be at Tabletop gaming all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to teach and play Japanese Riichi mahjong. For those interested in learning, we will have teaching opportunities all day.
