Hotel Room Block Updates for the 2025 Convention

We are announcing today (October 11) that rooms at the following hotels will open for reservations on Friday October 25, 2024 at 12:00pm (noon) CDT. Rooms will open at: the Hyatt Regency O’Hare, Embassy Suites O’Hare, DoubleTree O’Hare, Crowne Plaza O’Hare, aLoft O’Hare and Comfort Inn O’Hare. Hotel rooms released in our blocks tend to book very quickly. Be sure to review the room rates for our 2025 convention and be ready to book on October 25 to increase your chances of being able to book at the hotel of your choice.

Anime Central works with a number of the hotels in the Rosemont area to offer discounted rates to our attendees. Amenities may vary based on hotel, for that reason, you will want to review all the hotel’s amenities before booking.

We do plan on releasing additional hotel room blocks at different hotels for 2025. We will update this post as more details become available.

Booking a room within our hotel room blocks is very competitive, and rooms will book fast. Here are some things that you can do to prepare before the room blocks open.

Booking Links and Group Code Distribution

When the hotel room blocks open, we will share the links on Facebook, X, Discord and our website. We will share the booking links and any group codes (for mobile app booking) that we have. Be prepared to be online prior to the release of the booking links going out.

Sign-up for Hotel Rewards Programs

Besides getting the benefits from the hotel programs, doing this will pre-populate most of the required fields needed to book a hotel room. Make sure you set your preferred payment method. This will move you through the booking process faster and increase your odds of getting in our room blocks.

Booking through the Hotel’s Mobile App

When the room blocks go live, there will be high levels of congestion of web traffic to the hotel’s websites. To mitigate this, some of the hotels provide group booking codes, that can be used on the hotel’s mobile app. If you are running into congestion issues, try their mobile app. Note that not every hotel provides group codes and we will share any group codes provided to us.

Calling the Hotel Directly

If all else fails, you can call the hotel directly to book a room in our hotel blocks. This should be a last resort, as this is the most time consuming option.

Anime Central does not manage hotel reservations. If you have any questions or run into issues while trying to make hotel accommodations, please reach out to the hotel directly. Below are a few answers to some commonly asked questions.

• When we release a room block, all the rooms we have for that specific hotel are released. However, there is a possibility that someone may cancel their reservations. You will need to follow-up with the hotel directly to see if a room is available within our block.
• If you are cannot book online for specific dates for a particular hotel, rooms may not be available for those dates. As a result, you will need to follow-up with the hotel directly to see if a room is available.
