Red Juliet Report post Posted March 5, 2014 I'm going as Abaddon this year, from Supernatural. I've never done an up-do wig before, and I'm wondering what the best styles/tips are for accomplishing her look. I don't want it to be too top heavy and start slipping off (I've had this problem before with long wigs). I figured doing a short wig and some kind of clip on? I'm really not sure where to start. Here is a good reference I found, featuring her hair from all angles: http://i61.tinypic.com/2e15b8i.jpg
cactusmomma Report post Posted March 5, 2014 The biggest recommendations I've seen for that style have been going through Arda for their scalp defiers: http://arda-wigs.com/products/matilda http://arda-wigs.com/products/jasmine http://arda-wigs.com/products/malinda And then going off ideas to style it in the Rosalind Lutece option, possibly making the back of one into a clip weft, if you must. At least Arda's wigs are nice and heat resistant, so you can play with it to your heart's content.

I've decided to try the Matilda and just trim it to the needed length before playing with it. Lacefront wigs are my new favorite right now, they look great. And the Rosalind hairstyle is very close, and there are plenty of references to work off of.
