Hm... not really sure what to charge on prices. Hm hm... Something single digit for sure, maybe around $5 or so, depending on how much effort/resources it took to make the particular soap.

This. I've told an Artist Alley friend of mine that while prices shouldn't be extreme, they should still allow for a profit, and most definitely reflect the effort and resources used in her work. Also keep in mind that handmade soaps aren't something most of us see everyday, and the vendor hall is where folks are generally prepared to spend more.

What might help is check out soap sellers on Etsy. I know there's a couple I've bought from, one that I've gotten a Jelly Baby soap from. It was a nice big soap bar (that I'm still using, I'm trying to stretch it out forever) that I paid around $10 I think. I've seen other geeky soaps in the $10-15 range. A more plain soap could go cheaper. A TARDIS shaped soap... you'll probably be able to sell it at any price ;)

(those may or may not be hints on scents to make *cough cough*)

I am so glad to see that this is really going to be coming together!

I will def. stop by if this gets done!

I would really love a Sailor Moon themed soap. ^_^

Maybe it can smell like sweet dumplings? (since Sailor Moon is often called dumpling head >.< )

A fun thought: soap scents/names from MLP. Between the names of the ponies you can get a lot of cool soap names and scents. (Another fun idea would be naming them after songs - a soap themed after the "sunshine, sunshine, butterflies awake" song, for instance.)

This sounds awesome!

I really like how you guys are supporting my idea and contributing!:) I will try my hardest to get this booth opened for next year.Whether it is successful or not I'm happy I'm giving it a try. ^_^

Nothing wrong with giving it a go. I have respect for those willing to try to get something done, even if they fall short, it's giving it a go that matters (unless your Yoda, but life isn't Star Wars, so keep on trucking~).
