The other day I picked up Robotics;Notes again after putting it on hold for a while. I've also been reading Touch, which has turned out to be a really good sports/romance manga.

I've been meaning to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion and then Code Geass for AGES but never got around to them... not even sure if I'd enjoy that type of anime, but I'll give it a try!

I LOVED Senki Zesshou Symphogear. And yeah, I honestly can't wait for the 2nd series; I got pretty excited when they had announced it. ^_^

As for the anime currently on my watch list:

Shingeki no Kyojin

Suisei no Gargantia

I do have other anime backlogged (like some DVD boxsets I have that I hadn't watched/seen yet), but can't really put them on a watch list per se, since they're not of any interest at the moment.

Re-watch Stand Alone Complex? AWESOME! I am always rewatching it :3. It's my all time favorite :D. Great choice and good job on spreading its awesomness! You're a hero in my book!! :3 I hope you have the Solid State Society movie in there too for after the SAC seasons!!!! :D

I HAVE to watch Shakugan no Shana this year. I told my best friend I would watch it and he's been DYING to have me see it. But alas, school is in the way. I have the DVDs just SITTING THERE....staring at me. Gonna bring them home and watch it all! And also the new Eureka Seven--my best friend wants me to see that too--so those too are on my top. And I'm going to watch more GITS! I also would like to maybe get into chaos;HEAD or something. Idk yet. I started Gunslinger Girl....never finished.... XD!!!!

Wow, it's been a busy 3 months... What have I completed...

Serieswise I finally finished watching Nodame Cantabile Finale at a near marathon pace and wished it were more conclusive and leading onto the next step (aka kept going) but it was still a great show. Also finished Night Raid 1931 and OVAs which started out as having the same vibe as Baccano/Durarara! but it felt like less enjoyable in the beginning, picking up in enjoyment towards the end. Yami no Matsuei (I can see what all the fuss is about, but in terms of likedness it only ranks okay in my book. I think the last disc I bought at ACen last year and didn't open it until a week or so ago finding it heavily scuffed up, but it still played.), and Steins Gate (great storyline, characters, plot and ending).

Moviewise I watched Wolf Children (Really heartfelt and emotional) along with From up on Poppy Hill (good, not the greatest, but still a good effort).

Up next, I watched an episode of Sword Art Online, and will probably watch more before ACen 2K13 so I can at least recognize some cosplayers, and then most likely break into the King Gainer boxset my friend lent me a while ago in a quid-pro-quo exchange- he wanted to rewatch Gundam Wing. And speaking of Gundam, will get started on watching UC-era Gundam soon (any suggestions as to what order I should go in) since I should have a lot more free time moving forward... unless my friends saddle me with more American live-action TV shows to watch XD

Well, I just finished watching Revolutionary Girl Utena for the second time, and I'm still in the middle of watching Evangelion. I have plans to watch some more Sailor Moon, and maybe rewatch some older things like Cowboy Bebop.

Mikochika: Glad I could help out with some suggestions and made you want to go and rewatch some stuff. I've been meaning to go back into Detective Conan too and catch up with episodes (I'm at like 125+ somewhere...) lol. Yes! That's what the forums are for, really. Discussing each others interests, learning new things, and meeting new people =] Btw, Arakawa Under the Bridge doesn't really have annoying comedy... I know what you mean by annoying comedy. That show is just... I can't even explain. It's something so strange and out there but I don't think you need an acquired taste to enjoy the insanity of it.

Since my last post... I've finished Michiko to Hatchin (22 episodes) which I give a 9/10. It was really good and even though the ending wasn't what I expected it still had tears welling in my eyes. It had a more realistic ending rather than being generic. There was a powerful episode too a few before the last episode that had me pretty emotional too. A few episodes are like Cowboy Bebop, where even if you haven't seen the series you can catch on to what's going on in an episode and meet a character that makes a cameo for an episode or so and learn their tragic story and have MANY FEELS XD Not only that but the show like mentioned earlier has a Latin, cowboy, jazzy feel to it. If that makes sense. It's a really awesome show that gives you insight on the life of a criminal, broken families, betrayal, being blinded by love, a relationship between a mother figure and a child, broken friendships, gang life and trying to escape it, understanding the less fortunate, and sacrifice. It's got some pretty powerful lessons and stories in it.

I've been keeping up with the new season of Uta no Prince-sama Maji love 2000% (episode 6 just came out today of 12 episodes). Episode 5 of the second season had to have been one of the best episodes yet. Season 2 is much better than season 1 from what I've seen so far it's a lot more cute, fun, and interesting. The seasons going great! Just hoping to see what role the Sempai's are going to play because there hasn't been much of anything relating to them going on besides in the first two episodes or so... and waiting for the Natsuki/Satsuki episode >x<

Yesterday I finished an anime called Mondaiji tachi-ga isekai kara kuru so desu yo (Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they)? Which was 10 episodes. I give that series about a 7/10, meaning good, just above average but nothing extremely special. Final episode was interesting and ended kinda meh. Nothing in the series really tugged on my heartstrings. Almost but not quite. It was funny at times and really fun to watch. They put a lot of mythological and historical references into it. If they make a second season I'd definitely like to see more things answered, see Kuro and Izayoi use their Gifts they received from each other, and would love if they added more depth to it while still keeping it fun and full of action. Some things about it seemed really cliche... the main character seems too powerful and never really had to go through any difficult trials to grow stronger to beat an enemy. There wasn't a whole bunch of character development, very little background (if any at all) on the main characters lives before Little Garden... so yeah... But otherwise it kept me hooked pretty well =]

What I'm probably going to watch next.... Hmmm....

I need to finish showing Teebs Code Geass R2 sometime, he's on episode 10 now. I might go back and watch some episodes of other things... gonna rewatch most of the first season of Sword Art Online before ACen hits (since me and Teebs are cosplaying from it) as well as go back through some Highschool of the Dead. As far as new stuff... might go and watch P4 the animation, start Photo Kano, meh... I'm not sure what's next. I kind of just pick something I feel in the mood to watch then end up blowing through it. Anyone have newer anime they want to recommend to me? I've seen a lot of old stuff. By newer I mean the past 1-4 years or so...? Kind of started Princess Jellyfish, saw that the new season of Railgun is/or is coming out... and I've heard about anime like "The Devil is a part timer" etc but haven't heard anything like it was good, etc.

Watching Aku no Hana religiously. Up to date on the manga that's been out thus far too. I haven't been this excited about a newer anime since Madoka.

To put it really really simple : Somewhat full of himself boy steals the gym clothes of his classmate ( who he views as an idol) on a perverted impulse. Blackmailing occurs. Things get crazy. It's a coming of age story in the most awkward and disturbing way possible.

It is also rotoscoped ( somewhat poorly) which just adds to the ugliness.

Currently finishing up Say I Love You, and keeping up with the weekly releases of the new season of Oreimo.

I started to watch Magi: Labyrinth of Magic but my interest petered out pretty quickly after a few episodes, but that could have been due to the fact that it was like 4 in the morning.

honestly, you had me at 'steals the gym clothes of his classmate'...lol. i'll check it out.

it's been two days and i'm now on episode 7 of sakamichi no apollon/kids on the slope and OH MY GOD. wow. i love it so, so much.

it's directed by watanabe, who did cowboy bebop and samurai champloo - as well as one of my top five favorite anime of all time, macross plus - and there was a lot of hype over it, but i guess

it's for a different audience than most of those shows, so hype died down and i've been seeing more cult and critical praise for it than mainstream attention, but it. is. fantastic.

it's about a coming of age series about a group of high school students forming a jazz quartet, and, basically, everyone having a crush on everyone else, but the girl you like, likes your best friend, so you're mean to him, then you start to feel bad, so you try to help hook them up, but he meets a girl he likes and then maybe she likes you instead of him and you can't even practice for the night club you're supposed to play in at the end of the week because of the clusterEFF of complicated relationships and emotions; also, it's 1960s japan for some reason. the relationships and character development is done in this slow, deliberate pace that just makes it feel more realistic and believable instead of the melodramatic fanservicey stuff it could be if handled any other way.

it feels akin to BECK mixed with nodame cantabile, and it's probably my favorite slice of life since those shows.

and that opening song had been stuck in my head for the last two days. part of me wishes i'd watch this just a little bit earlier, so i could have cosplayed sentarou for ACen.

I am actualy RE-watching a lot right now because I had taken a year off from Anime to indulge in Korean Dramas. I figure, it's best to start with the series that I know I like and see if anything else jumps out at me from there.

I have currently finished re-watching Blood+ and have a list of things like that to watch. The most likely to be next are Fate/Stay Night, Claymore, Kuro Kami (Black God) and Blood-C.

I also plan to rewatch Wolfs' Rain, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Witch Hunter Robin.

Let's see... in these past two months, I've finished up Sword Art Online (which was very disappointing and overrated, IMO). I just felt so underwhelmed with it, and shook my head even further when I heard the price tag of the boxsets...

Then I've gotten halfway through Overman King Gainer, which is at best average. Otherwise, I've also been continuing with Space Brothers, and also began watching Attack on Titan, which at first I thought would not be my cup of tea but it's been growing on me. At club this summer we're watching Gundam 0080, Sora no Woto (which intrigued me after hearing Kalafina's performance of the OP last ACen), C the Money of Soul and Possibility Control (which I had previously seen) and Haibane Renmei (which I had previously seen some of but it was in a really erratic manner).

Next on my list... eventually need to watch the Tiger and Bunny movie, then after that who knows- need to catch up on some of my non-anime shows.

I'm looking at finishing Sword Art Online as well. I didn't think I'd like it, but the first three episodes convinced me.

But before that--Girls und Panzer! Good, slapstick comedy, cute girls, and best of all, hyperaccurate WWII tanks!

Just started reading/watching Shingeki no Kyojin aka Attack On Titan. It is to me the best by far. Great story, pacing, character development, and dont get me started on the pacing (Especially in the manga). So many twists and turns it will have your stomach in knots! Its just so deep you'll be craving more and more. It will hit you right in the feels!

I just finished watching subs of Sword Art Online and Suisei no Garugantia. I loved both of them! The second season of S.A.O. has a different vibe to it, but it did tie in with the first season.

Right now we are watching Accel World(subbed), and after that we need to finish watching and re-watching some older stuff.

I really like Accel World. The premise is cool, the action is pretty good, and the characters are interesting; they don't completely follow common anime archetypes. It's still a little predictable, but not annoyingly so.

I really want to watch that Magical Girl Madoka series. I've heard it has a twist and it isn't all bubbles and whatnot!

I also want to rewatch Chrno Crusade. Haven't seen it in years and feeling the nostalgia.

I highly recommend it! The English title is Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and you can watch it for free on Crunchyroll! The Japanese title is MahÅ ShÅjo Madoka Magika.

I forced my husband to watch it. At first he was resistant because it looked like another typical magical girl anime, but it does have a cool take on the genre, a kind of twist. Kyubey is the best! ï¼äººâ—• ‿‿ ◕人\

I'll also throw my hat into the "watch Madoka" pot- it's an excellent series and I highly recommended it. I just finished watching the two movies, actually, and look forward to seeing the 3rd one in theaters. The only thing stopping me right now is the probability of bad weather (I'll be driving out-of-state to see it).

Otherwise, what have I been watching... I finished Silver Spoon along with Attack on Titan, both are excellent series along with the Tiger and Bunny movie which was pretty good. Then I also finished the first season of Valvrave the Liberator which has a good OP, good battle scenes, an interesting secondary main character and a great mech design but otherwise is heavily flawed. I also just recently finished watching Free! which I liked a lot more than I expected to like. Next up, watching the Blazblue anime which isn't really clicking with me (totally unfamiliar with the games, btw), starting the original Gundam (only 1 episode in as of now) and might also begin an anime called Galilei Donna. I also intend to watch Kill la Kill along with RWBY. In club, I'm only following 2 shows- Hyouka which is better than I expected, and the newest Jojo's Bizarre Adventure which I like but my clubmates like a lot more.
