The CTA has announced that there will be maintenance on the Blue Line during Anime Central 2019. Passengers will be required to disembark between Jefferson and Harlem and the CTA will provide free bus shuttles between the stations. Attendees taking the Blue Line should allow for extra travel time to and from Anime Central.
Autograph ticket distribution sessions have been added to Guidebook to help make it easier to identify which tickets we will give out at each distribution. Please note, that distribution times for a few of our sessions have been adjusted so that they are not conflicting with their other events. For example, we will not be distributing autograph tickets for the musicians during their concerts. We encourage all attendees to review these sessions so that they can plan their schedules accordingly. Ticket distribution times and which tickets are given out in any particular session, are subject to change with or without notice. Both the policy and the autograph ticket distribution schedule, can be viewed by clicking the button link below. https://guidebook.com/guide/149020/poi/12104139/?pcat=745869.
Hello, I wanted to ask about the average time one typically spends waiting in line to get an attendee badge at the con itself. A friend recently expressed interest in going to ACen with me and said he'd prefer to just get the badge on the day instead of paying extra for the pre-con registration (as the lower early-reg costs have already come and gone). So my question is: Will he have to wait an unreasonable amount of time if he goes that Saturday to get his badge? If so, what is the best alternative I can offer him? If not, when is the earliest someone can get in the badge line at ACen this year? This will be his first anime convention so I want to be able to help as much as possible. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
