So I was wondering in terms of what you can bring into Soap Bubble/Synergy would something like, for example, a deadmau5 head be allowed in if I'm wearing it? It doesn't say anything about it on the rules portion but I would rather not be told I can't bring it in when I'm in line. Also in case size is an issue there are no ears on it that sick out. Any input would be appreciated. :)/>

Great question! Deadmau5 heads are ok, but may be subject to search. The standard "no open containers, no bags" policy will still be enforced. And also remember to have your badge & form of ID on you also! 1 NO BADGE=NO ENTRY 2. After a certain time, there will be a local curfew enforced by Rosemont PD after 12am for anyone under 17.

Per Illinois law: (Illinois Law 720 ILCS 555/1)

It is unlawful for a person less than 17 years of age to be present at or upon any public assembly, building, place, street or highway at the following times unless accompanied and supervised by a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible companion at least 18 years of age approved by a parent or legal guardian or unless engaged in a business or occupation which the laws of the state authorize a person less than 17 years of age to perform:

1. Between 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Saturday;
2. Between 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday; and
3. Between 11:00 p.m. on Sunday to Thursday, inclusive, and 6:00 a.m. on the following day.

It is unlawful for a parent, legal guardian, or other person to knowingly permit a person in his or her custody or control to violate the above. Check with your local community as municipalities have the authority by ordinance to adopt and increase the time requirements set by the state.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. Nothing will be in the head and I'm over 18 and always bring my ID and badge so that shouldn't be a problem. I remembered people bringing some things in last year but I just wanted to make sure this was allowed. Cool. :thumbup:

No worries! And remember, if you have anything really valuable with you, LEAVE IT IN YOUR ROOM/PLACE OF STAY!! ACen/MAPS/Hyatt Regency O'Hare will not hold or be responsible for your items! Just bring your id/badge/cosplay & a fun atittude!

There will be water stations all around the room, being stocked as the dance is going on! But, if you leave out at any time, you will have to get back in line all over again! Make sure you & your group (if you have one) are meeting together at the same time, so no one gets left out of the fun while the rest of you are in line or in the dance. Do a ID/badge check before you head down, so you won't have to walk all the way back to your room or hotel! Think "be 5 steps ahead, rather than 10 steps behind"! ;)
