Hi there!
So I am going out on a bit of a limb here, but I was wondering if there is anybody out there who has an educational background in Culinary Hospitality/Entrepreneurial Business who would be interested in partnering with me to open a maid cafe in Chicago, IL within the next few years? With the licensing, product planning, etc. figured out, we might be able to use Indiegogo for beginning funds.

I know that a cute cafe inspired by Japanese maid/cosplay cafes would be a hit if we could secure a location with high foot traffic. I’ve been doing my research and I have a lot of ideas but the business side is sort of a mystery to me.

Please let me know if you would like to discuss this possibility.

Unless you understand some aspects of business and have a specific strategy in mind I highly doubt you will find a business partner. What research have you done up to this point (I want real figures and not broad assumptions).

Start by taking a few business classes at the local community college. Secondly, I would suggest checking out areas that you would like to use. You're going to need to consider, rent for both location and cost of operations, empolyees pay (no one will work for free), uniform costs and upkeep, etc. They make it look easy in shows, but it's not.
