Advice from the Registration Team What to Expect for At-convention Registration

Will Call:

-If you purchased your badge and did not purchase mailing, you will pick your badge up from the Will Call area of registration. In order to pick up your badge, you are required to show a photo ID if you are age 16 or older.

-If you purchased badges as a group, individual group members can pick up their own badges OR the group leader can pick up the badges for the entire group. ONLY the group leader can pick up badges that are not their own.

Registering at-con:

-Want to speed up your at-con registration? Make sure you have an account in our registration system! This will help lessen the time it takes to process your information. You can create an account at if you do not have an account already.

-Registering is even quicker when you come prepared with your pre-filled out registration form to the convention! Just download, fill out the form, print it, and bring it with you to the convention center. The form can be found at

-Remember your photo ID! You need to present a photo ID if you are age 16 or older in order to purchase your badge.

-Service Discount is back! As a thank you to our service members (veteran and currently serving military, police, fire, EMT, etc), we offer a full weekend badge for a discounted rate of $30. This discount only applies to a full weekend badge purchase at-con. This discount also only applies to the serving member, and not to any other badges being purchased. The attendee must present an ID showing that they are or were a member of the various services to receive this discount.

-Friday-only and Saturday-only badges are available for purchase the day before use (ONLY after 4pm) or at any point the day of use. Sunday badges are ONLY available on Sunday

General Rules of Thumb

-Do NOT line up early. The earlier you line up, the longer the wait you will have. We always suggest arriving at least 1 hour AFTER registration opens. Registration hours of operation can be found at:

-Always remember your photo ID. It is required for both picking up and purchasing your badge.

-If you already have your badge but want to pick up your program book/lanyard, you do NOT need to stand in line. Come into the registration hall during our open hours ( and feel free to pick them up!

-Registration is in Hall D of the convention center this year (this is a different hall from last year).

-Registration is no longer in Liberty! We have moved our satellite registration office in the Hyatt to DFW. The satellite registration office in the Hyatt is open for badge purchases and will-call after the Convention Center closes until 1:00am.

-Already know you’re coming to ACen the 17th (May 16-18, 2014)? Purchase your full-weekend badge while you’re at con for only $38 ($40 with mailing). These badges can be purchased at any time during our open hours (
