I used to work on the Panel Programming staff (mainly ACen Idol stuff) a while back, and I was hoping to call upon old (and new!) friends for a little help! I just recently graduated college from the Fashion Institute of Technology and was a finalist in two huge Fashion Design Competitions for Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week. Long story short, I am now in the running for ELLE's Fashion Next People's Choice Award and it is a competition that is done strictly through online voting. Voting daily until Oct 6th would be absolutely amazing. By helping vote, you will also be entered into ELLE's Maybelline beauty product sweepstakes so is a WIN-WIN situation (Make up for cosplay )! All the dresses you see above were made from scratch by me in a matter of 3 months. If you don't believe me or want proof, I also included the behind the scenes process pictures that I took along the way.

It would mean so much to me to win this competition. I applied to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) during my senior year of high school and was accepted because my art and design sense were strong. I learned to draw and design from my extensive love and obsession with Sailor Moon and other manga. I didn't know how to sew at all and had to work insanely hard to learn and catch up with the rest of the students that could sew. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into my first two years at FIT so earning this recognition would truly mean the world to me.
