Green Bay can't hear you over the sound of 13 NFL Championships.

Well said. The Chicago Bears' 9 NFL Championships concur.

Wasn't the Super Bowl the championship for both the AFL and NFL? Prior to that they each had their own league and championship title.

While technically true, the NFL existed for many, many years before the AFL did. Pre-merger AFL championships are considered "not real" by most NFL historians because the AFL - right up until a couple of years before the merger - was basically an inferior product lacking the talented players which permeated NFL rosters.

The merger between AFL and NFL was official in 1970. Super Bowls I-IV were all NFL/c versus AFL/C. Prior to '67 you had NFL Championships like Chicago vs. New York and Green Bay vs. Dallas.

8 of which nobody gives a crap about. You don't hear a mention of it on any sports show outside of Green Bay. Compare those eight championships to what ever hockey used before the Stanley cup.

Steeler fans would only dismiss those pre-Super Bowl Championships, because that would reveal a Steeler team with no history prior to its first Super Bowl.

With a bit of digging, I was surprised the Steelers even existed for so long. LOL

That's a bit harsh, but I have to agree that Green Bay was the team/dynasty to beat during the 1960s. The Dolphins owned the league for the early 1970s, then the Steelers, then the 49ers...then the Cowboys, Rams, and the Patriots. Before the Packers, the Bears and Colts pretty much split the honors for the 1940s and 1950s.

Now admittedly I hate the Patriots, but I'm wondering if their days are done, with Tom Brady getting old and their defense getting porous. (Though I'd never count out Brady or Belichick.) Who takes up the Iron Throne of the NFL? I can't think of any team right now that is truly dominant.
