IMO, that's one of the establishments in The Park with the best food. My Big Fat Greek Restaurant is up there on my list too.

I wanted to try the Jaegerschnitzel so badly, but for the sake of saving money I had to split a meal with my boyfriend and he hates mushrooms so nope. The wurst was flawless, though, as was everything else I tasted (my friends all let me have little bites of what all they got so I could spot check the food, I'm kind of a massive German food lover so I wanted to be sure this place was doing a good job overall instead of just me lucking out and getting one of the few good things on the menu or something). I am pleased and will definitely come back again. The sauerkraut was the most similar to what I had when I was actually in Germany that I've had since. <3 (also the Maibock beer was incredible, just sayin')

It was better than the authentic German restaurant I live by! I was thoroughly impressed.

My husband and I tried out Adobe Gila... it felt very trashy to us. I didn't realize it's a bar that happens to also serve food. We went there for dinner, so we were a little disappointed. Everything on my plate except for the rice was overcooked to hell. I was too hungry to send it back for a re-fire though. The cervesa margarita was great! I just wish I didn't have to use it to wash down mush veggies and mush mahi.

Next year I think we'll try the Greek place. The only reason we didn't this year is because my husband works for a Mediterranean food manufacturer, and he gets sick of smelling gyros.

I had that too! It was AMAZING! Love me that mushroom sauce. Oh and the spätzle was so buttery and peppery and nummy! :9

Ah yes, that Jaegerschnitzel..it is what I usually get at the Hof though I didn't make it to HC this time around.

As for what I did go to:
Kings - Not a bad place and better than the higher end bowling alley I have here locally. Didn't get a chance to try the food and the bar is pretty average.
Adobe Gilas - Was quite busy after a midnight run but the service lacks and it gives me an overall 'meh' vibe.
Park Tavern - Best of the three. Food wise, not bad...best beer selection though they may not keep enough kegs on hand.

Will give Five Roses, Toby Keith, and the Hof a run next time.

Five Roses Pub was my fave. The waitstaff was very friendly and the food was good. The live music and atmosphere was great as well. Loved their chicken pot pie!

Only made it to Kings and Adobe Gilas on Thursday. Was fun. I would like to eat dinner at Adobe sometime.
