Ive only watched a few anime series start to finish like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, DBZ, what are some suggestions? i have netflix and have a huge selection to choose from just scared to pick one to start.
Spike Spiegel: Look at my eyes, Faye. One of them is a fake because I lost it in an accident. Since then, I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

First, a web high five for being a Bebop fan!!! I am a huge Bebop fan and Bebop cosplayer =3

For series, these are some that I recommend:
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: A fantastic series and I highly recommend it.
Big O: It is an older series and Spikes English voice actor plays the main character <3
Trigun: Fan favorite. A lot of people love Trigun (either the anime or manga) Has a similar feel of CB
Full Metal Alchemist: Another fan favorite. Very intriguing. I think you'd like it.

Wolf's Rain if you're looking for a good adventure. Last Exile if you're looking for something more sci/fi-ish. Eden of the East if you want a good mystery!

Wolf's Rain is sweeeeet.

You should try Eureka Seven, if you like Mecha-ish stuff, if you like Sci-Fi/mecha try Gurren Lagann, and try Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex if you like Sci-Fi again that goes into some deep ways of thinking.

Oh, and dude for your Samurai love, Rurouni Kenshin!!!!!!!!! ^___^
ACen 2017 Cosplay

Saturday: Major Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell ARISE variant] (100%)
Sunday: Either Major Motoko Kusanagi from GITS S.A.C. 2nd GIG or Esdeath again. Help me decide D;

What Alkaren said. Otherwise if you're just looking for general recommendations theres about a million threads asking for them in the anime section alone.

Honestly you'll probably find a lot of the same titles in all of them as people tend to recommend titles they like regardless of what someone posts they're looking for. Like hey I like Fruits Basket, what are some other things I should watch? Oh you should totally watch Naruto.

If you are looking purely to get a base of knowledge in anime, Ska listed some very good suggestions. All of those are series that pretty much every fan of anime should see and know.
