Thursday - 4pm-10pm(this has changed form 3pm due to setup time) This is open to ALL forms of Registration. In previous years this was only Will-Call. Another change to thin out our line on Friday.

I have a quick question about this, would I be able to go on Thursday to buy a badge for Saturday?

The attendee using the badge has to be there to purchase it. You cannot buy badges for other people (except for children of course). And single day passes can only be bought the day before and the day of their use date. So Saturday can only be bought on Friday and Saturday.

I paid for any already recieved my badge in the mail.
When we arrive at the convention center, and already have a badge, what do we do?

I've never had my badge already with me before lol thats why i'm asking.

Also to add to what rini said, they will have a goddie bag that has the Acen program book, schdules of events, maps, and a lanyard for your badge, (if you have your own you can use that also). They will have a seprate area to just pick up the goddie bags, usually in the same area as reg which is going to be in Hall D.

If you also go online and create an account in the system before the convention it will speed up the process for at con registration. It's one less step for the staff to do so it will speed up the lines.

I also sent in payment for my badge on September 18, and it shows that I haven't paid. I already received my check back through my bank as well, which means the payment should have gone through, not to mention the amount I paid from tier 1 had already been deducted from my account.

We still have forms guys. They got mixed together so they are not getting entered in order of arrival.

It should be ending on April 1st

The system should be set for 11:59ish April first but keep in mind we are central time, and also waiting until the last minute is a bad idea. You can sill register after april first and pay online but you cannot request mailing. Online payment ends April 15th.

well i kinda have to wait last minute caue i wont be able to get money for the badge until april 1st so im kinda screwed.....so i can pay for it and all i just have to wait in that loooong line to wait to pick up my badge???

If you have the money before the end of the day April 1st you can still request mailing. Otherwise you can pay online and pick up at the convention, but rest assured a lot has been done so that the line to pick it up will be much shorter!! A lot of people have selected mailing so the at con pickup should be super fast this year! :D

last year average pickup wait time was 30 mins- 1hour. We have a LOT less people for will call this year so it isn't the end of the world :)

I'm having the same problem. I mailed in my payment on 09/18/08, and even received my personal check back through my bank with the total amount from Tier 1 already being deducted, and yet it shows that my badge is 'unpaid'. I would think that since the amount had been deducted then my badge has been paid for. I don't want to pay for my badge again when I already paid for it once. If I don't receive a badge, should I just bring my bank statement with me? It at least gives proof that the badge was paid for.

We've answered this question a number of times. We still have forms to enter, they've gotten mixed together so there are September people who aren't entered. If you are worried you can email reg a scanned copy of some sort of proof of payment (bank statement etc) and we will mark you as paid. If anyone does not receive their badge before con then you can bring your proof of purchase to the registration assistance booth and we will give you your badge.

Hello!

Thanks so much for the detailed announcement!

1. Could we make sure that several copies of it'll be posted around the registration area at convention registration for everyone to see (and as a reminder to those of us who could see and access this info online)? This will save a lot of explaining over and over, and if people get confused still, they can then ask a staff person for more info.

2. Also, the idea of doing the paperwork in-line and then having a quicker process time at the desks sounds great! I'm really hoping the line will move quickly and the process will be more efficient.

3. Could the forms for registering all have a number? Of course, the forms would be handed out as first come, first serve but what I'm picturing is, person receives form with number on it, fills it out, and waits around that area for their number to get called. And then, instead of having the railings for the lines, we can have the room set up like a conference room. People can take a form, and take a seat. Take a seat anywhere, use the restroom if need be. No need to glue yourself in line, or call someone to hold your place for you if you're called away for a bit.

Thank you very much again, and these are just thoughts and suggestions that came to mind while looking at the info.
