Alright, so here's a problem I'm having, which I guess is more a general one then cosplay related. Buy anyway, I'm a guy, and I've got fairly long hair. I like to tie it back, however, every time I do, it starts to hurt, mostly near my forehead. Now, I'm tried doing it looser, but either it still hurts, or it's too loose and falls out. I learned the hard way definitely not to use rubber bands, so i've been trying to use a normal hair band. Anyone have any suggestions?

Scünci has a "No Damage" line that should be able to hold your hair with minimal damage to it, and a little gel or pomade to the parts that hurt and/or fall out of the band when you wear it loosely should hold them in place.
