You gotta slap me for saying this.... So we're talking about all the racing stuff that goes on in Japan... Are we going to "attempt" to talk about the japanese "custom car culture" like the bBs, and those ahhh "weird as hell funny cars"????

oh yeah were gonna talk about Japanese Car culture and how it has affected the american tuning scene. i wanna try and discuss the lesser known areas of japanese tuning such as VIP(Toyota Chasers,Verossa's, MarkII's and Crowns), Wagons and Mini-Vans(Estima's Previa's Odyssey's), and Mini Cars(bB's, Vitz's, and Fits).

It's not a car, But I own an anime themed racing mower. I'd get my pickup fancied up too, but I'm thinking you want something nicer than something done with that temporary spray paint I saw in the walmart.
Here's a link to pics of the mower.

How do you guys feel about cosplayers posing in/around (*never* ontop) your vehicles? I know last year a really nice owner of a Hachi Roku let me pose inside his car for a shot (out of costume) on Sunday because I love Initial D so much. There are a few characters that we wanted to do (the outfits are very "normal-clothes"-like--no wings or heavy props or stuff) that would be very appropriate to have some shots with muscle/sports cars. Would that be something that would be a huuuge no-no for you guys or do you think that it might be possible? I understand about personal property; I don't own a super-hella-cool car, but I take care of my car & understand that I wouldn't want a bunch of irresponsible people doing stuff to it that might damage it. I'm just putting this out there as a general inquiry.

i don't see this as a problem at all. all of the guys are really cool and if you go up and ask them they don't mind or you can ask me i'm ok with it. thats what there there for for people to take pics with so it should really be an issue.

no problem we aim to please. all of the guys and myself included love it when people take pics with our cars or of our cars it just give that kind of feeling that people really appreciate the time and effort involved in fixing up a car.

thanks for the offer, but i'm gonna have to pass. the only domestic cars i would be interested in are cars from anime series like gunsmith cats and riding bean. both of those are mustangs i believe and they would have to look exactly like the ones form the series also.

Would you concider my 1966 Ford Mustang? Its not the best thing in the world, nor is it a fastback like in Gunsmith Cats but it would add a little flare to the show, plus im having it repainted soon.

this year besides having strictly Japanese cars in the show i will allow a small amount of Domestics and certain cars done up with an ANIME theme. These cars will have to be show quality for me to even consider them. if you've done your car like any car from an anime serious such as Gun Smith Cats or Riding Bean those will take priority over others.

send me pics when it done and i'll consider it.

Guess I lose again. It's an '02 Ford (oh no, domestic and full size) F-250 crew cab with an 8" lift and 35"x12.5" BFG's. It's my daily driver, so I bet that throws show quality out the window. There's a DVD plaver I plan to install, and I only have a 500W amp and 10" Kicker sub in the rear seat, so it's not I'm sure what you consider seriously hooked up. Well, now you know my truck won't qualify either.
