Was anyone apart of the Rick Roll parade this year (Acen 2009)!?

It was hysterical! I was just walking down the sidewalk along the outerwalls of the Stephens Convention Center, and here comes a group of guys singing to a tune. I spot my buddy (cosplaying as Gohan) singing with the lyrics and I immediately recognize Rick Arsley! It was hysterical! We entered the lobby and started limbo, and then we took the party on the second floor. My favorite part was when the whole Hyatt bridge was echoing "Never gonna give you up." LOL

So did anyone else get Rick-rolled?

hahah it came at perfect timing saturday night, i was talking to my ex and a friend and i was going to ask her something and the second i opened my mouth the rickroll came on

I got RickRolled while getting my picture taken...it was SO HARD trying not to laugh.

Someone actually lead the group into a hotel room at 5:30am to wake up someones roommates.

It was my room, theyre yet to talk to me...it was totally worth it!

I just remember walking to registration to work, and I hear behind me a boom-box with the song playing on it. Everyone in the lobby thought it was pretty funny XD.

Yes! I saw them. Then I went to Ihop 15 minutes later, and THAT SONG WAS PLAYING!
It's was so weird. We all started laughing and our waitress looked at us like we were insane.
Good times, good times.

OMG! That was so fun! So many IRTs yelled at everybody. I joined the line a few times.

Then some people starting chanting "RAMEN! RAMEN!"

Then I threw my Emergency Use Ramen for them. XD That was not a good plan as for that was early afternoon, and I didn't get to my sleeping quarters until 2AM and realized how hungry I was... No ramen.

"Astley" danced his way over in my direction while I was in the Optimus costume...

Optimus took a swing at him... sadly, Prime missed...

Me and two of my friends followed him for about 3 hours. Right after the garden rave, we went back to our hotel to get something to drink, and we say him and told him to go down to where the rave was. Then we came back and joined him.

The IRT actually kicked us out of the hall connecting the Hyatt and the Convention Center. Then later we parked the group right behind the photoshoot that was going on at that time and they got angry. (It wasn't on purpose, but he saw Pedobear and stopped, forcing the rest of us to stop behind the shoot.)

All in all, it was epic, even though I never want to hear that song. (Yet, it still plays, over and over again, in my head.)

It would be better though if we had some cosplayers from Jet Set Radio Future. (JSRF has the best dance soundtrack I ever heard.)

Yeah, I was one of the few who rick rolled till the break of dawn.... and then some. We got yelled at by staff a couple times, the rick roller guy practically got jumped by an obnoxious jerk, and by the morning I was the only one left who wasn't drunk, but it was all so very worth it. ^^ Good times.

I remember this! I think I got swept up in the parade for a while as it was coming down the escalator! Since they were going my way, I kind of took it like the Metra train--hopped in and followed them, singing along until I "got off" at my stop.
