Yes, A-Cen is like a party to me, and no party is complete with the Cha-Cha Slide! And I shall be hosting a big gathering for those who want to participate in this fun dance. Yes, I'm sure we've all participated in this dance before, and come on, who says it isn't fun? =P

As of this moment, I don't have a time or location really picked out for this gathering; this is merely a planning stage going in steps (yes, I take things in gradual steps to make sure things go smoothly and as planned). Step One: Who's interested in participating? ^^

Oh my gawd, YES! I'm totally in! Now if we can just get the Chicken dance, the Electric Slide, the YMCA, and the Macarena going after the Cha-Cha Slide is over.

This be fun to do. And I second the caramel dansen! That's so easy to learn.

See, the main problem I have with Caramelldansen (love the song, love the band) is that when a group of people try doing it, no one keeps time with anyone else and it looks like crap. :/ I think it would be better if we stuck with older dance music (macarena, electric slide, chicken dance, cotton-eyed joe, etc.).

I try to start cosplay macarena at every con I'm at (HERRO THAR, POKETTOKON). It's always so fun!

As just a general poll, the version I learned we immediately moved right and turned 90º out of a transition. But I see other people turn left 90º and don't move right at all, and other just face the same direction the whole dance through.

What is the preferred or correct way to do it?
