Hey I didnt see a thread for a kingdom hearts gathering for acen 08 yet so i thought i would jump on it and just make the thread myself for everyone.

So i was wondering what are everyone's cosplay plans that are kh related and such.

Also I was wondering when people wanted to get together for a photoshoot, but I would not like to be the one to run it so anyone intrested then say so

I'm planning on a Kingdom Hearts cosplay but I don't who/what.
I'm thinking of wearing my Halloween Town Version of Riku.....but I'm also thinking of a Sora cosplay. Maybe I'll do both!

We meant to do this one last year but now we're getting around to it. I'll be Haruhi and have a Tamaki and Kyouya with me.

I'd very much like to do a Host Club cosplay since I love the series so much but due to my already fairly large number of cosplays I'm unsure if I'll end up doing it... [I was thinking of doing Nekozawa since it would be pretty easy for me and not add a butt load of work to my life... >> How I wish I could do Haruhi though...]

So... I'll think about it and probably check up on this thread regularily as even if I don't cosplay I'll probably go to your shoot if it doesn't coincide with what I'm going to have... @.@

My friends and I are doing a group cosplay for Ouran. We have everyone in the club plus Renge and Nekozawa, but no Mori unfortunatley.

We'd love to come by and join you!

I'm going to be Roxas, maybe Kadaj from FFVII too if me and my friend are able to finish the costumes in time. But anyway, I'll be Roxas then I'll have two friends going. On will be Axel and the other is going to be Demyx, we all plan to be wearing the Org. coats.

True, any updates on photoshoot news?

There probably won't be any photoshoots starting to set up till closer to time for the convention. When did RenegadePocky start the time list last year? I can't remember. XD
I wonder if they'll do that again this year too and print them in the schedules.

What are the times that photoshoots usually take place?

The more popular times are on Friday and Saturday it seems, since a lot of folks start home on Sunday and don't arrive till late Thursday evening.
I know a lot of photoshoots I wanted to go to were all around the same time it seemed, haha.
Depending on when the panel was, I might suggest setting the photoshoot time near the panel time, since most Ouran folks may come to the panel in costume. XD

AFTER the panel would be perfect. Everyone would gather at the panel, then we just go to the shoot place after. If we try to do it before, we might get rushed trying to finish in time for the panel. If we do it after, we can take our time and have some fun with it. Just my suggestion.

We should see how many COMPLETE host clubs we can get at the photoshoot. I'm gonna be a Mori without club. So if anyone wants to join my host club or has a need for a Mori, let me know. With the complete series to be out early 09, I know OHSHC will be the it show at ACEN 09. (well maybe Gurren Lagann or Lucky Star might tie)

You know, you don't really see Mori too often!
My group only consists of a Kyouya, a Tamaki and a Haruhi (which is myself).
If anything, we'll probably have an over abundance of Haruhi's! XD

In my group we have Tamaki, Kyoya, Haruhi, Hikaru, Kaoru, Hunny, Mori, Renge, and Nekozawa (who is also our Mori) I'm being Hikaru and my Kaoru and I are being the Cheshire Cat versions from Haruhi in Wonder Land =w=

Not too many people want to be Mori cause they think his character is too boring to play or he's not that popular. I personaly like to cosplay as people I resemble. (Miroku from Inuyasha/Kiba from Naruto) It makes it easier for me to pull it off. But I also like Mori's character and maybe I can find a female "Hunny" to hang out with.

Ah Miroku, he'll always be a character I love.
I can understand though, I'm a brunette/brown eyed person myself so Haruhi seemed to be a good match. I did want to do Tamaki, since he and I share the same birthday (April 8th) and that amuses me, but one of the girls going with us is the more exhuberant, outgoing sort so I agreed to do Haruhi instead.

Our Hunny is female XD Maybe you could walk around with us so our Neko can be Neko all day. She has her heart set on being Nekozawa all day, but she's willing to buy a wig to be Mori for the masquerade.

I'd be happy to hang out with you. The whole reason I go to the cons and cosplay is to meet new friends. Are you guys making your club jackets or ordering them?

Interesting to see a nice group forming here.

My original plan was to pull together a Nekozawa cosplay since it wouldn't be difficult and he's awesome... but I need a white cloak for one of my other cosplays so I dunno if I'd be up for buying 2 different cloaks... O.o
However, I've been heavily considering getting my hair cut like Haruhi's since my mom's always nagging me to get it really short and if pulled off correctly it could look cute. If that ends up happening I can probably be a casual Haruhi since I doubt I'll have the cash to buy an Ouran uniform...
