Hey guys

Nothing new on glomp team cause I'm busy getting things for the wedding. I am gonna be very busy until ... well ... probably until the end of August or September. So you guys can talk it up in here or just leave it be. That's okay

But for a heads up:

We're getting married in a Medieval Village with authentic feast after the ceremony. RIGHT after the cake, Jon and I will be rushing our newely wed butts off to catch a plane. We'll be taking a red eye to go to Orlando, Florida where we will be spending 4 days in Disney World for our Honeymoon

We would LOVE to hear from you guys, I'm sure you'd like to send us 'Congrats!' and a letter or a simple card (even hand made) would really mean a lot ... mostly to me cause you guys are like my second family.

Haha, hey guys.

I'm back now Now with this new life and possibility of not being able to come to ACen, I need a second in command. Basically you would be me ... in fact, I'd train you to take my place cause ... well face it guys ... I live out of state and you guys could be doing a lot more glomp damage with meetups, meetings and things like that.

I need to trust you, you will handle money for the team (which reminds me, I still have some money left over from 2008 donations as well as like ... 5 buttons).

Yush, no one has stepped up to be "in charge" which is sad cause I won't be able to come to ACen this year. I'm saving to go to Europe for a study abroad and Jon wants to study abroad in Peru.

So unless someone can pay for my flight/hotel, I won't be able to go lol. So, if someone steps up to be leader, there could be a panel, but I won't be doing it cause I do not have the money to go.

Lol as for moving to IL? We were thinking about it, but we won't for a long time.

i'm up for hosting a panel if two other would want to help me. but i would need at lest one other person to be my co panel leader

Hmm... I would, but I don't think I have the dedication to do it. I haven't been very active lately and I have a lot of financial problems at home and lots of crap going on at home life. ;-; I hope someone worthy steps up to the plate.

i would love to be in charge but I'm in charge of two other things already and I don't wanna take on too much.

Wee, I've barely been around this part of the boards lately! It's been crazy busy with school and NaNoWriMo and the show I'm teching for.

You'd think being unemployed I'd be *less* busy but it's the exact opposite!

Well, after I tried finding someone to take over the team for me, no one even tried applying. So, I kind of gave up hope and just see what would happen for a while. I'm actually shocked that you guys are still loving the team o.o

Unfortunately, I will not be able to come to ACen for 2009 due to me going to Italy/England in the summer of July 2009. Unless anyone knows a rich person who would pay for my food/lodging/airfare/etc. I won't be able to go But we can still plan a meetup, just no panel this year. You guys can go off and do your own panel, but it won't be supported by the gt (I just like being there to make sure our goals are expressed correctly).

Well, I suppose I should give you guys some updates on my life? I took a semester of Japanese, still don't know my grade. But I can read Hiragana and Katakana now ... I just don't know what I'm reading most of the time XD Me and Jon are happy, still working out some kinks in the marriage (he snores, I'm a very light sleeper) as well as going to school. But we have a nice break now.
Uhh the weekend before Thanksgiving me and Jon went to Burbank, CA to go to a Firefly/Serenity & Stargate convention. We met the actors that played; Jayne, River, Shepherd, Zoe, and Kaylee from Firefly/Serenity and then we also met those who played in Stargate: Dr. Rodney Mckay (I made a plushie melon for him to sign and he loved it. Lol got a kick out of it), Tayla, Ronan, and another guy from Stargate Atlantis which I forgot his name. We also met Sgt. Syler from SG1 (the guy that kept getting electricuted) and Alexis Cruise (he played Scara on the very first movie and in the series) was there, but we didn't meet him.
Er and now we're getting ready for the holidays.

I really want to go to ACen, my Japanese Calligraphy is getting very good. I could sell stuff there if I wanted XD BUT perhaps another year You guys be sure to have fun without me.
I'll pop in once in a while and I will put up stuff to vote on for the meetup.
