I got a used GPS. The same one I've been borrowing for the past few months. I got to open it this morning cause I was searching for the GPS & got handed a present.

Now I can figure out where my family Christmas is at.

Zac - Pfft, you're not too old. Dude, I'm 20 and my mom, dad, grandma ... a lot of people are showering me and my sister (and my parents) with gifts. It's like ... just because my sister doesn't believe in santa anymore it doesn't mean my parents slack on christmas (the actual celebration, not just presents). It's really nice, ya know, to be a kid sometimes.

As for presents ... I opened one from my grandma and it had $20 and $35 worth of Gaia cash, which I REALLY wanted I know I'm getting a printer/scanner for school and some PJ's (for christmas eve). That's all I know FOR SURE ... oh and gift cards but I'm not sure what kind.

But I'm so proud this year, I had money to buy members of my family 2 presents each this year ... even my boyfriend! I saved my miniscule babysitting paycheck and I did it! WHOOH! *celebrations*

Well I'm not getting a lot cuz A I'm getting older and B my main gift is pretty big and pricey so it trumps all and C my family (extended) decided my cousins and I are all too old (the baby's turning 21 in Feb) so no presents, period. *pout* We're getting money from my grandmother and our usual stocking from her with a couple goodies, a walnut, a chestnut, an apple, and an orange (traditions, gotta love 'em!)

But I don't mind too much -- I'm getting a 19" LCD TV, which I'm SO SO looking forward to! I've only got a 13" ancient TV in my room, and since I got my loft bed I can't watch TV in bed cuz I really can't see it (it can't fit on the higher shelves of my unit), so the LCD is going on the top shelf. Yay!

Plus I got a couple Borders gift cards from co-workers, so I went and got two manga volumes and a Dr. Who novel. And then I treated myself to a new Wii game and finally found me a Gaia cash card so I got the kitty!!


Anyway, I need to do some computer designs and finish pimping out my avatar ($25 worth of Gaia cash and it's gone in less than an hour...man I'm too good at shopping! )

Haha KC, I just got $35 worth of Gaia cash and the first thing I did was get an evolving item XD I'm using some of it to fund the main prize for my charity events (go sign up woman!). I also got that snow thing ... I was so excited when I got it lol I was acting just the way you are XD Ahh, but after the charity event, I'm buying some high priced items and selling em to get more mula for my charity. I'm so excited o.o

Sorry i have not posted in a few days (or it feels like it at any rate). Yesterday my work decided to let me go. They gave the reason that production (but confess it was based off of one month). Truth be known that it was cause i am one of the highest paid (or should i say was) in my department. They wanted to cut over head before tax time so they were letting a lot of people go from serveral departments....
So now not only do i have to find a new job but i also have to start school in less than 30 days.... more like 15ish. Not going to be having a lot of fun in the coming days but i hope to be on here still fairly often.

Agh... I wish I was, but I had a lil' unexpected financial drama--my bf got into a car accident (he's OK and the other lady's not hurt as far as we both know, but the car's dinged up), so we're sharing a car for the time being so we can both get to work.

Fortunately the damage wasn't that bad (so it don't cost much), but I'm not gonna have any fun money until later this month. So sorry, I can't really go to this one; but I'll see whoever comes to PokettoCon or the Chinatown meetup!

I am now back, after a bit of a Christmas hastle. Family was over, so that's why I wasn't posting. Also, my family helped me come up with this: *Lupus Glompus to all!* I was telling them how on the rp sites i was part of, i would do wolfglomps, but the glomp team had a wolf duo. My mom came up with the name, and then we all started making different versions.

It's almost 2008, and I'm about ready to explode from the waiting! My sis and I are doing a skit together, and I'm going to be able to participate in photoshoots!

Question, are there going to be a number of Glomp Team gatherings at ACen, or is there only one?

There's only one Glomp Team for right now ... but I'd like to have more around the country.

As of right now it's looking like just the one meetup again, like last year. There's a possibility of it coinciding with a Glomp 101 panel (check out the thread in the programming board and feel free to shout out ideas!!)

Well, did you send an email to me? Getting initiated on the board is one thing, but to get on the list, you need to send me an email and let me know that you have been initiated and by whom.

Also, we get a lot of people randomly joining or dropping by, expecially right before con and after con, so sometimes things can get hecktic, and if I did overlook your request to join, my apologies.

I would start one at Ohayocon, but I don't know if I will be going to Ohayocon yearly or anything. It's only my first time going... I guess I could try and start a thread and see if I can get someone over on the threads there to take up positions.

I will see about doing that sometime soon.

No, there aren't any meetups outside of acen ... not official ones anyways. If you guys want to get together or something, that would work. But as of right now, there aren't any. As soon as we get a second in command, there WILL be official meetups.

Okay so for the past 2 days I've been driving from Seattle, WA to Salt Lake City, UT. Oh. My. Gosh. I HATE THE FREAKING SNOW! I was afraid for my life a few times, I spun out once while going over the blue mountains yesterday (but I was able to regain control before I hit anything or anyone) and today we went through snow storms about 4 or 5 times. Yeah, did you watch the weather channel? All of that snow in the Idaho/Washington/Utah area? Yeah, I drove through that in my dinky little MAZDA MIATA!! Ahhh it was scary.
BUT! I'm okay now, I'm at my father's and this is my permanent address for now. This saturday (or sunday) I'm moving into the dorms and there I shall stay until May (unless I have to stay for classes).

So, that's what's going on with me ... I live.

yeah they are meet up? what and the are offical. just as much offical as the ones at the con are. threy are all start on the forums. some of the offical biggest meets up out side of acen are: acen after math, otakus on ice, and the chinese new years one. all of the ones i listed happend annully.
there is cosplay, pictures, food, and of course the new tradistion of storming the abc building.
Just to let you know all the ones i listed are in chicago natually beucase the con is here.
there are some outside of chicago through.
oh but no glomp team meet up through. we are all at to far distances to each other

Lol a glomp saber is just like a regular light saber, but they only come in the green and blue colors (that is to go along with our glomp team colors). Instead of slicing through people, they are used to keep balance of the glomp Jedi as they soar through the air for that precious attack.

Not to mention, they make really cool 'vwoom vwoom' sounds XD
