Today was a horrible day to work. I had to be outside in the snow & ice. *Snowball glomps all GT Member*

For me, I spun out in front of an ambulance. I'm just starting to calm down, and it was 8 hours ago that it happened. *parinoiaglomps all*

Well 'tis December, NaNoWriMo is over, I achieved 56,839 words this year, a major improvement over last year's 15K, and I'm very happy with my work. Now I can spend the next two months catching up on all the boards and emails and such I procrastinated on while writing my brains out.




Oh man yeah that would have been sucky! My aunt & uncle's driveway was a sheet of ice. Thank goodness they have an attached garage so at least my grandmother didn't have to walk on the ice. Me, it didn't bug me. I don't fall so easy on ice. I chalk that up to my ice skating lessons, really solidified my balance!




Oh man at least you're okay! That is scary!!

Hey there all!
I know i am posting later then normal but my work has been crazy busy and there cracking down on us a bit with net. Well i do have an update on my school front. I am going to SCCC tomarrow and setting up my class' 83
Also it looks like i may be getting Grant after all but i will have to find a way to pay for my class' before the grant money comes in. I am not overly concered about it though, i think i will have a way to cover it. Just hope that i am not late to the party on that one too ; ;
Anyways looks like were all going to be haveing a snowy day tomarrow (and tonight if you get this on 12-06-07 around 4:52pm). Everyone be safe and if you can enjoy the snow :3

Everyone: I do hope you don't get too stressed out thinking you must post all the time. Inbetween the cons it's like that, which is fine.

Though, when 2008 starts and I get used to my new schedule (still dunno my school schedule) then I'll be whipping this place into gear and hopefully get a Leuitenant (still can't spell that ranking) to take over meetups at other cons and maybe some meetups durnig holidays

But for right now, don't worry too much about it, it's December and it's always a hecktic time of year. I do not know if I"ll be able to get on much ... if at all ^^;

I had kind of a crazy weekend but i finally got something done that i have been talking on here about doing, I am now offically a college student again 83!!!! I am sooooooo pumped to get going again. Kind of nerves and excited and concered all at once, which is weird to me since i normally am just feeling one at a time
I still need to get X-mas shopping done (need to get paid this week before that, COME ON WEDSDAY). I know what to get my brother and my wife (i hope i can pay for that gift) but everyone else is stumping me :/ My wife also complains that i am hard to shop for. I did'nt think i was that hard of a person to read. Anyways!!!
Needs more snow, and no wants ice! Ice sucks, Snow is made of frozen water droplits and win!

I'm happy! I managed to get my laptop running!!! Fixed it all myself! It's working great, just needs software and time for me to learn my way around Kubuntu Linux (the OS I installed). I'm extremely proud of this because my ex-boyfriend (who built his own computer) gave up on it, claimed it was unfixable. HA!!!!!!

Plus I finally got the poem insert for my Christmas cards done and printed...now I can't find the dang cards. *glares around room* I mean how many places could they find to hide?! My room is only 10x10!

Ah well, I accomplished one thing, tomorrow I'll accomplish more I hope Like getting cards in the mail!

Yay I just finished addressing all my Christmas cards There's a nice little stack sitting on the dining room table waiting for me to stop at the mailbox in the morn.

Hey Little Kirara! I bought me a little bitty Gir today! Hot Topic has a ton of IZ stuff all of a sudden (not to mention some classic Disney Afternoon -- I bought me a Darkwing Duck shirt and Chip & Dale and Duck Tales buttons!). See, check it out, Gir is singing the doom song to my teddy bear. (yes my bear is wearing a Hannah Montana shirt)

Anyway..off to bed, I have work later (yuckola) and I still have to finish installing all the programs on my laptop and shut it down. Yeah, Linux has a way cooler Add/Remove Programs panel -- it's got like thousands of cool programs that are FREE that all I had to do was check the box and it installs them for me. I checked stuff like Sudoku games (for my dad), like four versions of Breakout and Tetris (and there's more I'll be adding later ), and astronomy programs and vector graphics and programming....weeeeeee!

*ahem* anyway I'll shut up and go play with my laptop now. *glomps everyone* Night all!

Oooooooohhhh! I am SO excited about this one Christmas present that I'm getting for my father!! I just have to tell people, or I'm gonna burst! First, I need to bulid backstory >.>
So I'm the granddaughter of Burley Parke, he's a famous trainer of horses (in the hall of fame and everything!), but he died when my dad was young, so I never met him. So, I went on ebay to see if I could find any memoralbilia (however it's spelt) to get my dad for xmas ... I found just the thing! Noor, a champion horse that my grandfather trained was the horse of the month in this magazine! It has a picture of the horse and my grandpa and a nice article. So that's my dad's father in that magazine ... and I know he doesn't have anything like that of his daddy.
But unfortunately, the seller only accepts money orders or personal checks. I wrote to the seller if he could accept payment in a quicker way so I could have it by christmas. I told him the story about being the grandchild of Burley Parke and he replied saying that he'll send it right away (if I press the buy it now option) and he'll trust me to send the money. Isn't that amazing?!
So I'm really psyched right now and I can't wait to recieve the package ... just reading about my grandpa and then giving it to my father on christmas day! I think he may get teary eyed .... so excited!
Lol sorry, I just really had to get the excitement out or I was gonna burst o.o

Anyways, I'm gonna be gone for the weekend. My family and I are getting our pictures taken in our home by a professional today (blech, fancy dresses) then we are going downtown seattle for a bunch of holiday stuff for the whole weekend (whooh hotel!). So I won't be able to get back on till Sunday
After sunday it's gonna be sparse that I'm on as well: My mother is having an operation on monday ... so I'm gonna need to help her out a lot and after this weekend ... I have to start packing for moving x.x
