I just picked up some miscellaneous notions at work today (all Dritz notions 50% off baby!) so tomorrow after a trip to Sally Beauty Supply to HOPEFULLY find some white wig pins *crosses fingers* I can finish my Lenora costume! Weeeeee!

Oh yeah did anyone see CSI: NY last night? The first victim was a COSPLAYER!! I was totally thinking in my head "OMG a cosplayer!" and then a little farther into the show Adam explained cosplaying to Mac! HOW COOL IS THAT!?

Now to work on my design for the cool sign to bring on Sunday when we try to get on ABC news again (I bought fluorescent orange posterboard heehee)

Sorry, I've been a bit quiet, been busy and now NaNoWriMo has begun!

I dressed up as my OC Lenora for Halloween, for a meetup on Sunday which was a BLAST. Then the day of, I worked, slept, then watched Ghost Hunters and knocked off the first two thousand words of my novel!

i think in the course of the weekend... it was totally neat to be interviewed by the press on "what is a Glomp?"

You got interviewed about glomping? AWESOME! You gotta tell the whole story now!!!!

I was tempted to stop by Reactor but then I said no, I'll be a good girl and write. Um...well I tried at least. I think I spent more time mindlessly staring at my forums than actually writing. *blush*

Now it's time for a bit of a nap and I'm gonna make myself hit 12K before the end of the night, I'm determined!!!!

I have returned from Youmacon......


Much fun all around it was, including probably the largest gathering of Bleach cosplayers on the east coast, with easily over 120 Bleach cosplayers.....for the Saturday of Youmacon and its photoshoot. We had to move the original location which was the hotel restaurant to outside because we went overcapacity for the hotels restaurant which was a 100 people. Saturday was the day of the 'Bleach Army'.....

I also have proof of the reasoning behind the fact many cosplayers believe in the 'ask before glomp' concept now a days....
a picture of a pillar in the hotel that got cracked by a crazy insane glomper who tackle glomped someone so hard into the pillar plaster they cracked it and you could see the steel beams underneath the plaster....

*glomples all in thread* okay after the creepiness of too many hug signs at youmacon. ideas pop into my head. if we have glomp team members who attend other cons as we do create other glomp team chapters maybe?(glomp team badges getting rid of over usage of signs and look much nicer) and/or have a panel on glomping dos and don'ts (glomping etiquette 101)..... um or a booth in the artist alley or something (could sell glomp swag at said booth?)with a dos and don't of glomping manual....? don't know how feasible these ideas are of course...... just thoughts. I know as a team we promote the proper usage of glomping and think it would be cool to spread the message to the masses that don't know the proper glomp etiquette on possibly a larger scale. did glomp several people with glomp me buttons on while at youma.

This would be kind of cool to do

I just finally got to see "The Christmas Invasion", also known as the first episode of Doctor Who with David Tennant as the Doctor. I dunno if it's the influence from being on this team or what, but man when the TARDIS doors opened and he stepped into that doorway in his jammies, I just wanted to leap through the screen and totally glomp him! *drool* Better forwarn any Ten cosplayers that are gonna be at Acen 08

Anyway, just had to say that Now I must return to novelling, gotta get a little more done before bed. I've passed the 15K mark, yay!
