Sorry I keep disappearing for long periods at time everyone @_@ I need to keep visiting the forums and actually say stuff more often~

So, out of curiosity, have any of you already started to save for ACen? XD I put back a measly five dollars as a start, seeing as I have save up for another iPod, I might as well go ahead and have a tiny little start... X3 I don't think I'll save as adamantly as last year until about October or November. =3

I'll prolly start saving around October I think. That way, even if I save $10 out of each paycheck I can still have $300 for Acen.

We did good saving for this one this year, we had about 400 to work with, we didnt get much. But we will be saving more, there were alot of things i wanted to get . So i plan to start saving now, put up like 20 dollars each time i get paid

I put aside $20 a week. Plus if possible I put aside the $500 my father gives me for Xmas & my $600 vacation pay. Course I spend all of it in Artist Alley & the dealer's room. I think I spent over $400 in one trip through Artist Alley this year ^^; I never made it to the dealer's room this year cause of the Bleach tournament.

I don't even want to think how much I spent last year. I was definitely in th $1000 range between Artist Alley & the dealer's room. I justify spending that much by saying it's research for my comic, which hopefully I'll be busy working on soon since I've finally got a real story

Good lord, how much do you guys spend at conventions? Just curious, lol.

I really don't want to add it all up. Since my first year (as mentioned) was over $1000 plus the cost of the hotel room. This year was $400 plus the hotel room.

Then there's also the couple hundred I normally spend on making cosplays. If I took all the money I spend on cosplay, hotel, & dealer's room, I could probably make a really good down payment on a house or buy a new car ^^;

Plus for next year or 2009, I'll hopefully be in Artist Alley & have the cost of printing my manga. Granted I'll earn some of it back by selling.

I'll start saving up after October. Right now I need to save up a min of $500.00 before October for an awesome trip I am trying to make possible. It's gonna be hard But I am gonna bust my butt on trying. Basically all of my pay check goes to bills bills and food. lol. That and I am saving up for a down payment on a house. I make money on the side though through on line sales, and hopefully will bring in some more $$ in an artist ally at a local con.

I can't speak for the average congoer...since I've always staffed. However, I usually spend somewhere around $60-$100 in the dealer's room. When I'm being a good boy. This year I spent 60...which was hard cause there were so many more weapons I wanted. I did manage to get the replica of Zangetsu. Not the Bankai version...but the regular one. But next year I want to have a bit more spending cash for the dealer's room.

Basically money is one of the things I don't really have to worry too much about since I get a room and get fed. Which is why I love staffing the con.

I don't want to think about how much I spent....I didn't really save ahead, but I pulled $200 out of the two paychecks before the con for cash in hand, and then I also charged my Mitsuwa spending and my big purchase in the dealer's room (my two swords). I could have spent more, there was a third sword I really really REALLY wanted and if that dealer is there next year (or heck if they're at Wizard World), that basket-hilted Claymore is MINE!!!!!

I really need to get better about saving, and start setting more money aside for big stuff. I really want to save up to go to The Leap Back in 2009, and since that will involve airfare and hotel expenses (it's in LA), I need probably a thousand or so for that weekend, plus before October I need to register for Terminus before the price goes up again (it's $140 til Oct).

I'm trying to cut back on my spending, hard to for a crafty type working in a craft store but I'm trying. My goal this summer is to try and finish all the craft projects I've bought supplies for instead of buying more craft supplies. Let's see how long I last!

I carried it with me to Registration. Ironically enough...while I was there with it...we didn't have any complaints. Could be because I had it slung over my shoulder, Ichigo style while talking with some of my staffers at the complaint counter. *evil grin*

I've got 2 I'm trying actually. I'm still working on characters for one, It really reminds me of Tenjo Tehnge & Real Bout High cause it's got lots of martial artist & is set mostly at school.

The other is similar to Genshiken & Comic Party, cause it follows an artist. I've got all but the main character figured out & ready to be drawn ^^; I'm gonna try to get pics of random ACen people & use them in the crowds (with their permission of course)... must find pic of Sailor Bubba


Check E-bay. I'm gonna try to go as Hallow Ichigo or an Armor of Justice Orohime. I couldn't avoid the Armor of Justice idea since I was playing the card game a little while ago. They make you yell 'Armor of Justice protect me' in order to use the card.

Got issues with our drain lines under the dishroom backing up constantly now, cause teh crockry is busted in several places, and the like, so poor DR smells kinda like an outhouse in July down in South...

Off on other tangets, was nice to meet those who did come to the gathering of the Glomp Team.....Though one of the high points of my weekend was going to the High and Mighty Color panel and autograph session, where I got there one CD signed by them. Of course the true treat was I happpened to recently came to the panel from the Bleach photoshoot so I was still dressed as Bankai Ichigo, and was toting my Tensa Zangestsu which the boys of H&MC asks to see, so I let them hold it. Yep, Yuske and crew held held my Zangetsu...SQUEEEEEEEE! There where like 'cool', 'good prop'. I was like shaking from excitment. I picked up my signed CD and took back my Zangetsu and then walked down the small stairs of the platform where the one guy waiting to help people if need was like 'you gonna be aright'. I like squeaked 'yes' and then made my way out as fast as I could before I fell over from happiness. After I got out of the panel I was all jittery happy...it was freaky. I got back to my room to drop off some of the stuff I was also carrying along with teh CD, and told soe of the people I was who where in the room, and they where like no F***ing way....and I was just yes way....
I think for the rest of that day I was like on cloud 9....
