What you should do is go ahead and start saving for next year, even five dollars a week or even two weeks! It could help in one way or another for your planning for your next year. I understand you plight on money... this is my first year away from my parents and I may end up having to scrap for money, but as it stands right now, I'm in good shape... but that's because I don't have a car, insurance, and I split food and rent with my sister... but I really need insurance, my health has been... uh, questionable, as of late and I've began to worry a little bit... :sweatdrop

But yeah, save any money for next year that you can... even the smallest amount can help you in the long run.

Yeah thats fine. Hey off the topic of shirts, what are we (me and my sister) going to expect at this convention? I know it is large well not as large as one called Anime Expo, but this will be our first large one since youmacon was small.

Well... in all my four(soon to be five) years at ACen, I've never found anything too strange, for some reason... but I guess some of the things to expect-

CROWDS!! I mean, BIG crowds... there are times and certain areas that won't be crowded, but for the most part... crowds surround you!

LINES!!! Lots of them... get use to them. If you plan to pick up your badge... LINES! If you want to see the Masquerade.... that's one big butt line.... seriously.

INSANITY! Believe me, I've witnessed it and been a part of it... but it's fun. People innocently love-tapping people with yaoi paddles, grabbing behinds, yelling funny things... I've seen it all...

OVERLY OPEN PEOPLE!! I'm trying to become one of these and I openly talked randomly with three people last year, this year I plan to make it a lot bigger and make a lot of friends!

CRAZY COOL COSPLAYS!! Lots of interesting, mind blowing and even crack inducing cosplays.... O_O



Those, I believe, are the most shocking of it... but for the most part, it's prolly like a small con, just bigger and with more insanity. -
And I think everyone kind of gets the idea to bath now... so I've never had to be by any smelly person, well... the game room can get smelly with the Para Para machine and DDR. ^^


Other than that? Err? It's a learning experience. XD

I started saving up a little money from each paycheck last year.. I do have enough to go this year, but I won't have enough to really buy anything.. So, I am going to continue to save up so I can totally rock next year.. > _ > I usually hang out in the dealers room.. So many things there I love and like.. I checked the prices for badge holders with clips (so our badges won't fall apart) .... and they are not as bad as I thought. So we will be getting better holders.

I am going through hardships right now, so when everyone registers for their GT badges, if you could spare any extra $$ (which I know a lot can't, it is not expected of you) that would be awesome!
