Just 10 Runway Model spots left! We also still need a few more stylists, and a few donations here and there would be helpful XD

How to Apply for the Show?!?!

This is scheduled for Friday in the Main Ballroom at the Hyatt: 4-5, Models and Event Staff must be there at 3!

• This is an all ages event!
• Both Runway Models and Staff Members will be considered as a volunteer. Limited benefits might be available to just Staff Members

FIRST: We are looking for people with some experience with:

• Fashion knowledge
• Sewing
• Modeling
• Cosplaying (even though this is not a Cosplay event, it helps if you have Cosplayed before)
• Cosmetology

Even if you have very little experience or none at all, DON’T hesitate to apply!

SECOND: These are the main categories that I’m hoping to get the most Runway Models and outfits for:

• Any type of Lolita
• Gyaru
• Visual Kei
• Decora
• SteamPunk
  
  ***Any Props must abide by the same Rules as Masquerade***

THIRD: There are several different ways you can participate:

• If you want to be a Runway Model, you have to provide your own outfit, either handmade, store bought, or borrowed.
• We are looking for people who are willing to loan out extra outfits and accessories.
• Models looking to participate, but can’t provide their own clothing: As long as there are extra outfits, we can probably hook you up!
• If you want to voluntarily work behind the scenes, we may have something for you!

Runway Model Application 1,
for those who CAN provide their own outfit:
(Copy and Paste, and send as an Attachment)

• Category/Description or Pics of your outfits (your outfits must be approved before we can accept you):
• Hand made? If so, by who?

• 2 Pics of the Applicant: 1 Full Body Pic, and 1 Headshot.

Once you’ve been accepted…

• If you need to cancel out of the show, please notify me as soon as you can. I would like to find a replacement if there’s any time to do so.
• If you want to switch outfits, you must notify me by Thursday, April 30th (I need to approve what you will be wearing)
• If you come to the show in something other than what I have approved, you may not be able to take part in the show if it doesn’t fit under any catergory, or if that category is full.
• We will provide a few stylists for those of you who are unsure on what to do with your hair and make up.

• I prefer someone who is close to done with cosmetology school or is licensed.
• This does NOT mean someone with no schooling can’t apply.

no specific sizes...we have models that may need a larger than average size, so that might come in handy!

Is it going to be in the same room it was in last year? If you plan on taking pics I'd recommend bringing good lighting. The lights in the room last year gave off a yellow glow and made the pics look out of color.

It says that forms are due in April, just wanted to check and make sure you aren't picking out models before that date. I just don't want to find out everything was filled before I even submitted my entry! D8

soooooo, weird question. i was wondering if a gloomy bear costume would count for j-fashion? its kinda a shot in the dark, i completely understand if you say no. just thought it might be fun for a giant pink bear came down the runway

lol I say that because I was in modeling before and some people are pretty specific when it comes to what they want with height. I'm 5'4. Not very tall, not very short. so I couldnt do some certain things, but I could do commercial shots for reference books. That was fun <3

seeing that you are going as a character, probably not...enter masquerade?! SORRY....
