Personally, I'm not a big fan of LANing in the game room at cons. Yeah, it can entertain a lot of people, but that means it takes up a lot of space. Generally I see cons being short on space and TVs in their game room in the first place.

I mean, one X Box with Halo is fine, but when you get two, three, or even four then you have 8, 12, or even 16 gamers sitting around playing the game. Just think of how much space that takes up. It would quickly monopolize the game room and alienate anyone who doesn't enjoy Halo/wants to play a game that's not Halo. It'd be like setting up four SSBM's.

As for requests - if I haven't said it already: King of Fighters: Maximum Impact. We ran a tourney for it at Ohayocon and it was a blast.

Yeah I really like the Naruto games. I have both Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2 & 3 for the Gamecube. Now Just so I can play them I will be taking both games to the Convention. I like playing the game with others and not just the computer.... Anyway, I also want to see Naruto video games either for the Gamecube or PS 2. But I will be taking mine anyway. :cool:

It might have been requested already a bunch of times..but I was far too lazy to read through the entire forum to ask for this. I want Naruto 3 there for Gamecube And a tournament set up for it. I know A LOT of people who would be in the tournament or would just come to watch that. You guys had Naruto 2 in the gaming room last year I believe...so I don't see why you shouldn't this year

Oh and if you have a tournament will Temari be tournament legal? I hear a lot of people complaining how her fan whirlwinds knock you back even when you are blocking....but....that is because she has to keep you at long range or you can obliterate her -.- So let me know about both of those..thanks!

I don't mind having a Naruto 3 Tournament in the game. And Temari is a very good character but there are ways around her wind, it ain't that hard to avoid them. You can easily get her from behind with any charcater while she blows the wind. I don't see why she would not be legal. I play with mostly all the charcters and I don't complain about anyone having an advantage, the ones that complain are the sore losers... lol .. j/k but seriously, I will be taking my own system and game to the con, especially since a lot of my friends will want to play it too. I persoanlly don't have a problem with any character, so I would not mind any of them. Plus is a lot better to have access to all of the characters instead of forbidding some. Makes it better for the fights. ^^

Indeed I agree on this fact All characters should be legal. I mean..all characters can be 'cheap' if used right. All of them just have their ups and downs...like you said..Temari in her wind combo can be countered by getting behind her...since you can't break out of the combo once it begins. Woo! Bring the system..start up games/tournaments/whatever! LET THERE BE NARUTO!

Well, I like most of the games that are brought to the video gamer area. But the ones that MUST be there (not really, but I'd really appreciate if they were) are those cute chibi fighters on the computers.

I strongly suggest you run a GGXX#Reload tournament over regular GGXX. There are probably going to be a decent ammount of serious GG players coming from out of state and no ones going to want to play XX, the game has been dead for well over a year, almost 2 years actually. If you cant get a reload cabinet (which I am sure you cant), just run it on console, if you dont have the means to run it I can provide it. If you decide to go ahead and just run XX anyway then at least please allow me to run a reload tournament as well.

Hmm, Arcade SPF2T lacks the ability to hit 'up' to move a gem from its current position immediately to the ground--effectively removing more than 70% of the maximum speed us insanely skilled folk can dish out on the Dreamcast version.
