Hi everyone, my name is Ryan and I am the Video Gaming Department Head for Anime Central 2005. This thread exists basically to give me an idea of what YOU would like to see in the Video Game room at Acen 2005.

Now let me give a little disclaimer here:

BY REQUESTING A GAME IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE GAME WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE IN THE VIDEO GAMING ROOM!!!

There are many factors that will lead to my decision of what is going to be in the room, so I am not going to be able to make ALL of you 100% happy by putting every game ever created in the room, but I would like to make you as happy as I can by providing what the majority of people want.

So go ahead and request away here, because I will be ignoring requests in any other thread, pm, or e-mail. Both arcade and console requests are welcome.

( BTW, no need to request DDR, that is a staple of any conventions Video Game Room )

Guitar freak's 11th mix linked with Drummania 10th edition so we can do sessions.

If you have those, i gaurntee i'll spend at least 100$ on them.

Donkey Konga, if they have an arcade variant, would be sweet.

I am going to try to bring as much NEW Bemani to the room as I can, but remember there aren't many of those in the US to begin with.

Tekken 5 should be a go, if not on the arcade, the console since it should be released by then.

Same with SC2 and GGXX.

Tournies will be BIGGER and BETTER this year.

As for Wadaiko.... I don't know what Namco did with the machine, last i heard it was rotting in a warehouse or in hell (Ohio).

I know what you mean. i've been looking to buy a machine for a while now. Instead of the cheap one for playstation. that you have to import.
But there woule be much appreciation if u got a hold of them. And it would be sweet, if you raffled them off. (yeah i know i'm dreaming).

I would love to see Initial D: Arcade stage version 3 there. You had it there last year and it seemed to be a huge draw. I know I get a second from Drift_Sensei!.....btw, both of us were wondering if a tournament could be held for this game....assuming it is there. Thanks!

Will defiantely being trying to get this, and if we do get it there WILL be a tournament on it guaranteed.

Two quick questions first...one, are there gonna be two game rooms like there were last year (one console and one arcade), or are we just gonna have one game room like the year before? And are you asking about arcade machines or everything?

Assuming that you're only asking about arcade machines...here's my votes, thoughts, and, in some cases, dreams:

Fighters (although any of these on console would be great if not better as well):
Tekken 5
Tekken Tag (better on console, though)
Soul Calibur II
Capcom vs. SNK 2
SFIII: Third Strike
Either Super Street Fighter II Turbo or Hyper Street Fighter II (or whatever the collection one is called).
Guilty Gear XX
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution (although this might not make much money)
Marvel vs. Capcom 2, if for no other reason than that it somehow banks.

Music:
DDR, possibly two machines, one of them not being 8th? (3rd K2, 4th Plus, or 5th would be amazing, though unlikely)
Pump It Up (heh, if it doesn't break)
Para Para Paradise
Taiko no Tatsujin (if possible, considering the trouble beforehand...but it IS quite popular now with a US release)
Beatmania (5-key mix of some sort)
Drummania (if not Taiko)

Racing:
Initial D (I don't like it, but it banks.)
Wangan Midnight (I can't believe how good of reviews that got...BETTER than Initial D?)
8-player Crusin' USA....kidding. Kinda. ^_~

Puzzle/Shooter/Other:
Mr. Driller
Puzzle Bobble
Some Namco collection with Bosconian.
Raiden Fighters Jet
Uh...air hockey or pool?

I don't expect most of those (Wangan, Crusin', Bosconian, Pump It Up, CvS2, SFIII, SFII, VF4 Evo, Taiko, Para Para, air hockey/pool), but I figured I'd throw out both some staples AND some oddballs.

Here are a few other ideas...DDR (a given), Pump it Up, Taiko Drum master, Beatmania, KILLER INSTINCT( Blast from the Past!)....hey is there any chance to see that Naruto fighting game?

The newest Naruto game whichever that is(last years was really fun), Ghost in the shell, DDR with atleast 4 pads, Sexy beach 2 for the late night gamers lol j/k if you don't know what it is and want to know private message me, also is there a love hina game out there somewhere? A friend of a friend said something about it... Besides that maybe Burnout 3 on PS2. Halo 2 for X-box is a given I bet...just simply because it can entertain like 16 people at a time if we can get enough tvs and X-boxes with links...but if not atleast 8 players would be nice......
