Greetings everyone,

Since avatars have been something that has been asked for for quite some time now, we've decided to implement a stock avatar system for the forums. I'd like to thank Juri, arina_shirakawa, and Locke for their contributions to the stock avatar effort with images and original art from years past and current.

We have uploaded several avatars to the forum database.

To choose a stock avatar:
1. Click on the "User CP" link. Your control panel should open.
2. Click on the "Edit Avatar" link on the left. You will be presented with the list of avatars available to you.
3. Choose one avatar by clicking the circular button next to it to select it and then click Save Changes. Your avatar should now be displayed on both past and future posts.

Please remember our posting rules when using this new feature. Blatant spamming, posting, or post-flooding is NOT allowed on any of the forums. Also, if you find that a thread is turning into a "conversation" or "IM discussion over forum", please take it to IM. We tolerate some chatter and banter back and forth but if it becomes excessive we will let you know to take it from the forums so that they are not taxed by a lot of posting.

Aside from that, enjoy the new feature and hopefully we'll have more features in the near future. Please discuss all questions and issues in the thread in Tech Support.
