Hey guys. We've decided to move the lobby portion of the meet and greet to 7:00 that way we aren't rushing. We will try to be down there to just about 8 though- so if your late that's ok!

For the 21 and up portion, I got Jameson, Johnny Walker red, and some weird apple pie flavored whiskey. This week I will be making the cherry bombs for the challenge. I will also bring extra cherry bombs to the party in case people want to test their egos.

I will most likely have one. Hopefully it won't be too big of a mistake...

I'm planning to forego the 21+ meetup in favor of a sober all ages m&g. All due respect, I simply don't want to be surrounded by booze.

I don't believe the booze is coming out until 10pm when the 21+ event starts.
Sure maybe people are getting ice and cups but I'm fairly certain nothings getting opened until then.

There are separate events (3 in total). Forum Meet&Greet, M&G after-party PJ party, and the 21+. http://www.ACen.org/...meet-and-greet/ The alchohol is limited to currently the 21+, I don't think you will be "surrounded" by booze or wasted people at those either.

If you're having fun that night, you should stay (not that you have to drink)! There's always the chance some people might get rowdy due to alcohol but it would be a shame to miss out on the chance to meet and have fun with some super cool people (aka all of us B)/>)

I meant no disrespect. Perhaps I'll come check it out. I'd love to meet new people, especially those as highly (self) billed as you! Worst case scenario, I leave a little early. My apologies if I came across wrong in my initial post.

We will be happy to have you at any of the events. They should all be fun but we want everyone to be comfortable! :)

Well the after party isn't a pj party but other than that you are correct. (Not that you can't wear your pjs of course. Lol)

Who might be willing to bring some board games to the after party?

I'm not sure I even want to know what a cherry bomb is. XD

You are totally fine. We do want people to feel comfortable. Sorry from all of us if you felt that we thought you were being a party pooper. :highfive:

I might have been hasty in my initial posting. Something has occurred to me:

Are there any out of state people 21+ coming in who are also craft beer heads? It might be fun to all get together and do a small bottle tasting. Everyone bring something that represents your state and get a chance to knock some beers off of the wish list. Anyone?

Oooh... That's a great idea. I could even get a "sampler pack" of various flavors. I would hope there are a few people outside of the Midwest who could represent though.

Definitely! I'd love to see a rare beer or two come in that we can check off that list. I'm happy to see a few people who are also interested, regardless.

The Hellfire challenge went well. More people watched and recorded it this year, but no one finished. I will have to think of something new for next year.

Oh man Park Tavern is our new go to restaurant. Loved the food and beer selection there, but the service was a little slow.
