Japanese singer who sang the OP for Sword Art Online season 1 along with a couple other songs from that anime

She also did Yui's singing voice from Angel Beats.

She has also done some songs for Fate/zero along with a few albums of her own!

She is my favorite japanese singer ever! I love her voice and it would be AMAZING if she could come to anime central!

4thing this! I love LiSA and I was actually going to suggest her.

She's in so many different anime titles, and has played at so many cons already I'm sure she'd love to play for us!

I've seen her twice in Japan and once in the US and I have to say her concerts are quite fun and different than the other idol groups or usual folk you see tied to anime. I think it's the band and having more of an indie rock band feel to it. (I can't remember having that much fun at a concert in years.) I'm not sure how many Japanese fans would come out to Chicago for the con, but I'm sure there'd be at least a handful, on top of the other LiSAkko in North America.

The only minus I can think of would be having to fly her + her band out for the concert. That's money that could be spent on more guests, but it does make for a great live show.

I'll gladly provide whatever resources/contacts I can if people are interested in bringing her here. I went to her "Best Day, Best Way" concert tour in Kawasaki at CLUB CITTA and had a blast meeting everyone. I documented it here - http://lisa-lab.com/...c.php?f=9&t=273
