For anyone in the Chicagoland, staying dry?
My basement (where I keep all of my supplies and products) flooded as my power was off for a few hours and my sump pump stopped working.
Fortunately most of my things were on a table so they're okay, but unfortunately this mess is going to set me back quite a bit. Ugh.
Hope everyone else is doing okay and their basements/houses are dry. Happy thoughts!

I will (hopefully) be attending ACen 2015 as an Artist.
You can view my merchandise at my Etsy Shop.
Or visit my DA for more samples of my chibis and prints.
Feel free to message me with any suggestions or comments!

My worst set-back was trying to drive to Hobby Lobby and not being able to due to the main road being completely flooded and closed off. Thank goodness my sump pump didn't die out. I hope you can get everything back together in time!

Oh no! :(

Thank goodness your things were on the table, but I wish you the best in cleaning up the rest of your basement. I hope it goes quickly for you!

Thank goodness I didn't have any personal problems with the flooding. The rain has stopped me from being able to spraypaint my pegboards and the flooding's kept me from going to Michael's and Home Depot to pick up some more supplies, but that's about it. My apartment is on the second floor and the complex itself hasn't had any flooding problems from what I can see. We lucked out!
