You gotta take things seriously, but today, I get the feeling that Boston is getting trolled.

Things getting nuts in Boston. City is at a standstill, one suspect dead, another on the run.

We had the news coverage on all morning at work. Quite the developments over the past 12 hours! I wonder if things will get wrapped up by the end of the day.

I think the one brother has high tailed it somewhere else..maybe even another state. And got a hair cut.

I think events started late yesterday because the suspects robbed a convenience store. That seems weird to me. If they were resourceful enough (not to praise them) to plant a number of bombs in a major event, why do something like empty a cash register? Kind of seems like they wanted to be caught or at least go out with guns blazing.

If they were amateurs rather than pros--think the Columbine killers compared to hardcore al-Qaeda types--they didn't think that far. An assault like that on the embassy in Benghazi was done with some planning, for instance. The Columbine killers just went in and started shooting, with some vague ideas on what to do afterwards.

These guys might've thought they would get away with it, too.

I've got to agree there. Considering the number of cameras at an event like the Boston Marathon, if they wanted to have any chance of getting away with it they would have needed to flee the country immediately before pictures of them were identified. The fact that they remained in the Boston area tells me that either they didn't think that far ahead or they thought they were a lot more clever then they were and never expected to actually be caught.

like i said from the beginning, most signs are now pointing to them being domestic terrorists sympathetic to al-quaeda, but not trained by them or having any direct affiliation with them.

there's lots of misinformation right now, but from what i've seen, they didn't rob the convenience store, someone else did, the cops were called, and when the suspects saw the cops, they freaked out assuming they'd been caught and started firing at the police who showed up on the scene or whatever.

it's looking more and more like some random anti-western nihilistic jerks with too much time on their hands. i can't wait to see what the jonas brothers-looking punk says when he's out of critical condition. he actually made some tweets after the bombing laughing about what happened.

Hopefully they'll be able to confirm that no one else was involved. That's what I'm waiting to find out about.
