[Whodigiya]

I've only been to a handful of smaller conventions before this, but this year I'll be heading out to ACen and A-Kon. I've wanted to do something like this for a very long time, but haven't had the time or the ability to. The only type of cosplay I've done before was Elwood Blues at the Southern Maryland Comicon (X-Factor #4 featured the Blues Brothers as FBI agents, those guys are in virtually everything out there!).

My favorite anime series is Betterman! while my favorite movie is Read or Die. The most recent manga I've read is Goth, but I do keep up with Naruto and try to keep up with whatever Baki the Grappler there is I can get a hold of. I'm a big fan of the Fist of the North Star series, although I haven't seen everything it has to offer. Outside of that I'm currently watching the Persona 4 animation and Claymore.

Anyways, I'll be going it alone to both this time around so I look forward to meeting new people, seeing the sights, and winning (read: losing) at various fighting games. If there are any Nerima Daikon Brothers cosplayers out there I'll have to take a photo with them. I'll also be Slender Man at some point... Other than that, pleased to meet you all!

I've seen my fair share, but it'd be pointless to sit down and list all that in a single introduction. Most of what I watch is horror related, trippy, or makes me think (usually about how trippy it is. I also tend not to stray outside of what I know or what's been recommended to me. It's by sheer luck that I stumbled onto Baccano! thanks to a podcast and that fit my tastes quite well. The manga I read before Goth was Koe no Katachi. It was fairly fantastic.

When I looked at the thread title, I first saw "A Fist For Everything", especially tied into the "Here comes a new challenger" sub-title.
