I would love to see Scott McNeil there more so since I'm going as Duo this year...also of course Vic Mignogna cause one I'm a ranger and two HE"S BAD A**!!! lol when's the list of the guests?

I'd be okay with Scott McNeil. Not so much Vic.

I hate to say it, but I'd rather not see Vic Mignogna this year. I'm sure he's a nice guy, and he does entertaining panels, but he's attended six times at this point and rumor has it he went WAY over his allotted time last year. If it's him or more money for international guests, maybe invite him in 2014?

From what I read on 4chan (which of course has to be taken with a grain of salt), ACen isn't to fond of Vic. I mean, when I've met him he's been nice, but I don't know if ACen would be up to it.

I don't know if it's right to say that a convention as a whole doesn't like a guest...while individual members and staffers may dislike or be biased towards guests, to say [Con name] doesn't like so-and-so looks pretty bad to other guests. Some of them do read the forums.

I'm not staff, but I can venture to say that ACen doesn't dislike anyone, so despite how some staff treats/views some guests, the heads do their best to be objective and receptive.

Aw don't apologize, it wasn't mean or anything. I just didn't know if OP would think that ACen won't invite a guest because it doesn't like them or not.

I mean, I guess this brings up a question of my own, which is probably more of a concept based one than a request, but I wonder how often staff not liking a guest leads to their mistreatment, or being ignored.

As a Vic fangirl, I always love seeing him, but I've meet the man like 10+ times now at different conventions xD Scott, however, I would LOVE to meet for the first time. Koga and Duo were like, my first anime crushes ever way back in the day xD

I have to agree. No offense to the Vic lovers. Kinda want something to perk my attention. JYB, Masashi Hamauzu, and Misuto Suzuki made ACen epic. (still cant live down the fact mitsuto suzuki asked if he could take a pic of me in cosplay). (i know jyb isnt new but...) I think new blood would excite folk.


Lets be honest here, there are lotsa disgrunted veteran ACen goers. Nah, ACen doesnt have to appeal to the disgruntled, but new would help.
