Friday night dance?

Is there going to be a rave on Friday night? SoapBubble is huge and super popular, but it's on prom night.
Wasn't last year Hardcore Synergy? Is that happening again this year?

Yes, as far as I know hardcore synergy is on Friday night and has been the last few years (starting around the same time as Anime Hell). If my information is incorrect I hope someone from the ACen staff will provide corrected information.

Ah, thank you so much! I just see a lot of buzz about the Soap Bubble and nothing on Friday's dance.

Another dance with guest DJ's I surmise. Why the heck is Prom so late in Chicago? I think those schools like to time it with ACen.

This is my first Con. This is my first time going to Anime Central. I have tickets to the Kalafina concert on Friday night.

1. Will I be able to do both the concert and the dance.
2. If I have to choose, which would you recommend more?
3. Do people wear the cosplay costume at the dance?

Can't wait.

Yes, the concert is at 8pm, the dance runs until the AM hours. You'll easily be able to go from the concert to the dance and have hours left to enjoy it. You're welcome to wear cosplay at the dance as long as it follows ACen's cosplay rules :)
