How will we know which rooms we're in?

Curiousity for the sake of knowing. Last year our DMC panel had a line outside and I know the gentleman that was helping out, wish I had his name he was awesome, had to pull out chairs at one point. So when can we know the room that we're going to be in so we can make sure that we know roughly how many people will be in there? This way we can take a look at it early to see the best way to set up the computer and other factors.

It will be mostly like last year, we will release our draft schedule to panelists to find their panel(s). It will show the room, and this year we will have the room's capacity listed below the room name. We will also have a link of the hotel map so you'll know where your room is.

Any ideas when? Also when will we be able to see panel descriptions for all panels? Kinda interested to see what is going on for activities this year.

The first group of panels (about 130) should be soon I'm working on the last of it now. As for descriptions we need to edit all of them due to some unique grammar skills some of our panelists have. Once that's done we'll have it up on the website.

And a little bit of cool info
2011 we had 194 applications
2012 we had 225 applications
2013 we have 300 so far!
It's great seeing that more and more people want to become involved with the convention and run panels :)

In 2012 we had a total of 298 panels including ACen run and GR panels. And around 320 Live Events in total!

Yes, we do our very best to adjust the descriptions and fix em up nice and pretty. If we need your input or want something a bit more descriptive etc, we will email you and ask for a re-write.

I'm not sure what you mean by bible program but we will have a program book with schedule and descriptions in it along with the mobile app schedule and info AND the touch screens in the Hyatt will have the schedule like last year.

I've never had a program for a con be so big like the one for ACen 2012 was. I totally would love a bigger program than that one
