I read somewhere the playstation 4 is already released in New York? i dont know if its true or not but heres one the new games for PS4,
idk about you guys but im thinking of buying it. and select the 720PHD Quality so you can really see the details of graphics on the ps4!

The PS4 will be released this holiday season (likely Nov). Yesterday was just a teaser announcement to get the initial, official word out.

720p!!!?? That's chump resolution. The PS4 and the next Xbox should run native at 1080p (at least). The Wii-U does it already.
How could any console LAUNCH just go unnoticed? There was only a Sony press conference that only revealed it yesterday (and ACen board thread about it). Where have you been?

yeha 720p would be a downgrade from the ps3, unfortunatly cause xbox 360 cant handle 1080p just about all games are made in only 720

I think the reference to 720p was to the quality of the announcement video, not the PS4 itself.

No, I think he was just talking about the PS4's resolution. He didn't even know about the announcement and its stream.

If we're still talking about the PS3, most of its games run at 720p but can be upscaled (just stretching the picture) to 1080p. (Running BluRay disks on the PS3 CAN run natively at 1080p)
Like any PC game, you can just downscale at lower resolutions to match your TV/monitor's limitations. It's like running an Xbox360/PS3 on a cathode television, it's still possible.

The PS4 can output 4K Res...just not for games.

Any deals for a 4K HD Set yet?
