That looks like a nice wig actually. Have you checked arda-wigs.com?
Might be some other ones on there that i've missed too xD Looked kinda fast.
As far as spray painting a wig i wouldnt recommend it unless you use the stuff meant for hair (like the stuff you use as highlights or even the stuff you'd get from halloween stores that makes your hair look bright green or w/e). I definitely wouldnt use much of it since it can get clumpy. Styling is something i'm pretty new to as well but i found that light amounts of hairspray work well. You can use Got2b freeze it spray if you really want more of a hold. I've heard that works wonderfully. I have yet to try it myself but i've heard nothing but good things about it. If you're uncomfortable/unsure on how to cut a wig you can ask a salon or if you have friends that cut hair, that works too. There's plenty of links out there on how to layer if you need to do it.
I would also recommend using Silicone spray on your wig to keep it from getting tangled/frizzy. Link for recommendations on how to use it, what not to use etc :

I've been using just a spray in hair conditioner since the 3 wigs i own are short or in an up do. I'm a beginner myself on this whole wig thing too.
Spike wig (Sorry for the blurryness in this photo.)
That's the wig i got from Arda called a Magnum. doing a female version of Spike spiegel and wanted to keep a feminine look to it but also that "I dont give a crap" appearance. I just used some of the spray in conditioner and some general hairspray (very small amounts). I plan on using some of the Got2b freezing spray to hold some stuff in place but yea, that'll come later. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions i'll try to throw out what i know. It's really a learning process and i totally understand how you feel.
