Hey I've been going to ACen for a few years now actually like 7 lol. But ya out of no where i just found out my brother and my best friend both decided to not go this year so I'll be going alone. I have a room set up but i never hang with my roomates at ACen IDK why but eh. So I am hoping you can help me find some people to hang out with. This year I'll be doing a Itachi Uchiha cosplay and perhaps L or roy mustang but those are up for debate so please help me find someone to hang out with!!!

I suggest various meet-n-greets and photoshoots/gatherings and be outgoing. At least you should be around some likewise individuals.

Adding to that don't be shy and start talking to others even if it's about the weather, so cold last year. I might go myself again if my friends can't make it this year so your not alone.

yes the weather was not all that great. But I was alone for like 3 years and this year I have friends and the best way is just say hi and wonder aimlessly.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. My cousin wont be able to attend the con with me because it's too far away and my best friend probably wont have the money to attend, so I'll be alone as well />' I'm also an insanely shy person and tend to get a little too dependent on one friend (I have a bad tendency of staying close and pretty much hide ><). As much as I attempt to make new friends, it just seems like I always fail in that department.
On another note, I cosplay Itachi as well ^^' And this past convention, my friend and I did a Beyond Birthday x L cosplay (though, there's an extreme few people who actually knew who B was).

well i was able to talk a few people into going with me and staying in my room so i'll have them with me most of the time but i enjoy company lol, dunno how much sleep they intend on getting while there since it'll be one of their first cons lol

This may be taboo for some, but talking to other people on the elevator has actually opened up some pretty cool discussions in the past. Helps to pass the time spent waiting, too.
