The manga for Highschool of the Dead is FINALLY going to resume! CLICK HERE!
I'm personally a huge fan of the manga and the anime (I cosplay Rei from it). For those of you who have read the manga you should know it's further then where the anime left off... There's been talk of a 2nd season (anime) but I haven't really seen an official announcement confirming one. In any case there was a weird hiatus on the manga for whatever reason... It was starting to make me think the manga was never going to resume but after seeing this I'm super happy! Anyone else excited? I don't like the fact that there isn't an official time-frame of when it's going to resume but I can only assume we should see some new chapters by summer (is that asking too much?)
Does anyone know why it went on Hiatus in the first place? Or do you have anything announcing a 2nd season? I'd love to see the stuff in the manga that takes place after the anime get animated! AHHH SUCH EXCITING NEWS. I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG.

If I remember correctly, the hiatus involved babies in the mix. Whos, I can't remember. as for season 2 of the anime, they stated at AX last year (maybe 2yrs ago ~ When they were there) that they wanted to pick the pace a bit, so they were waiting on more material

Really? I see o.o I thought it may have been medical or something illegal XD YES! Amazing! Can't wait. Well... looks like there is a set time frame for the return of the manga now! YES!

It looks like it is going to start back up in Spring! They had cut the manga off on such an epic part! I can't wait till it picks back up.

I really want to try and find the full color edition they had at ACen last yr just so I can get back into the series again and also to have the color images
