I've been checking almost obsessively and today was the day: our table numbers have been released!
There's still no floor plan out yet, but still pretty cool to start getting to know your neighbors!

My sister and I will be chilling out at Table 98!

How's everyone's prep going? So excited!

Oh my gosh table numbers! Now I just can't wait for the floor plan! My table number is 108 so I will be there cutting little things out of paper for the weekend.

As far as prep goes, I'm woefully behind! I'm going to have to bust butt starting this weekend to get to where I want to be by May. I've only got ~4 shadowboxes done and I plan on bringing at least 50, as well as bringing a bunch of cards and unframed art. I've got a lot of work to do!

I feel so behind too! I've got Anime Milwaukee in about 2 weeks, so even more stressed than normal! =p And then some art supplies I bought were faulty so my charms are running behind schedule.

Ooh, table numbers - I'm guessing a floor plan won't be too far behind. I'm at #46 with a friend of mine (and her fiance - er, husband by then! - who's filling in for my sis as table helper, lol). So excited for ACen!

Thanks! I brought about 20 with me last year and made 5-6 at the convention, but my table looked really really empty as they started to sell. I'd love to sell all 50 this year, but at the least my table will look full (and I can sell them on Etsy later anyway).

Good luck with yours, too! More than one convention a year is a heck of a lot of work!

Sooo... what do you guys think about power drops? (assuming, you know, the floor plan actually has us in the same block)

Also, we're not just sellin' prints, we're mostly focused on selling books for tabletop RPG, assuming we can get them done in time. I, personally, am already in complete panic mode, and will likely remain here until we get the first book proofs.

If it helps, everyone I talked to last year was wonderful. I was really terrified about the whole "hawking your wares" aspect since I'm generally a terible saleswoman, but I ended up finding it to be considerably less stressful than I thought it would be.

agreed! All of my table-neighbors have been super nice. Mostly, you will be fine just by greeting the people who walk by your table and answering their questions.

Looking through the AA participants listing again, I recognize several artist names/studios, and some that I'm a fan of as well. One of them being "Zeiva Inc." I see their table number and I freaked out going, "OMG THEY'RE GONNA BE SITTING NEXT TO ME!" Or if not exactly next to me, at least within the same area.

I'm a retail store assistant manager by day, so that part will be the easy one.

Right now more freaking out over getting everything ready. Full time job + 2 part-time jobs + family obligations = No time. >_>

Have fun plans for the booth though, so that will be a stress reliever.

Oh man, for the setup itself, you mean?

I've been having a lot of fun making this year's booth setup so far. I'm doing a PVC pipe setup for the main structure so that I can still have my sign up top, and the pipes on the sides will be supporting two pegboard (one on each side). The pegboards themselves should hold a heck of a lot more shadowboxes than last year's setup which could only hold five on each side.

I still have so much work to do, though, on both the booth setup and all the artwork I'm bringing. T_____________T;

Edit: How annoying. There's a filter on these forums that capitalizes the "a" and the "c" in "ACen" so I literally can't link anything from my domain where a-c-e-n is all lowercase in the URL.
