So who else is going to Anime Midwest? Or any other local cons

So, getting an idea, who else is going to Anime Midwest?

And what's your biggest draw/reason? Karaoke? GLaDOS? Todd? For me it would definitely be GLaDOS.

Cosplays did not happen in 2009, thanks to finals. Things are not looking good in 2010 either :/ I may not make it til Acen until Sat. evening.

As of this writing, Anime Midwest already promises a variety of guests and a con suite. And if their statement about "over 3000 people" is correct, then the con will hopefully have no issues with crowd control, or being too sparse.

This'll probably be the tricky part. With that many guests, there may end up being a ton more people there than expected XD 3,000 people would be a just-right amount though! :D

Frankly I'm going to Anime Midwest to see Steam Powered Giraffe perform, that, and I couldn't make it last year. I went when it first opened up in 2011 and had a super awesome time with everyone.

I really, really hope Nabeshin comes back. His panels were a BLAST. SO SO SO fun. I had a great time at it this year, and I am very excited to go again this year. It will be interesting for it to be in the Hyatt! :)

I'm still pretty stoked for this con. I like how it's in the summer so it's a guaranteed go for me. And it gives me more time (since its summer break) to make cosplays. XD

My group that I'm staying at ACen with will most definitely be making a return to Anime Midwest. We all had an amazing time and would love to do it again

I've been looking for more cons to go to, and Anime Midwest is close and easy to get to. It sounds like it's a lot of fun!

So now that ACen is over is everyone looking forward to Anime Midwest? I'm kinda glad I'm going this year because it made the Con depression from ACen a little lower since this event is right around the corner! Is anyone working on a new cosplay? Or will you be reusing your costume from ACen?
