Will there be a lolita tea party again? If there's going to be a mailing list for it, I definitely want to be on it so I don't miss out on tickets! Some advanced warning would also be awesome so we all have time to get an appropriate outfit together, too!

Last year with Angelic Pretty was awesome! I love their brand, but I also love Baby the Stars Shine Bright. :D

I surely hope so! One of the highlights of the Con for my daughter and I was that Angelic Pretty was at ACen.

ohhh, i hope Angelic Pretty will be coming back! I didnt get to go last year so i was upset to hear AP was there :( I will be wearing my Angelic Pretty Star Night Theater OP in pink this year so i hope they're there!!

I am wondering the same thing - and wondering if the forums are the best place to make guest suggestions or if there is someone on staff I can email?

There will be some event similar to last year's tea party this year. It's not final, but things are looking good.

As for suggestions, it's best to post them in the Suggestions subforum of Guest Relations. I am always watching the forums, and it gives me the opportunity to see how other attendees respond to the suggestions.

Do you have any info if AP's designers maki and asuka are attending as well?

I also second a mailing list or some notification of tickets, if there will be tickets.

They cant give information about guests till they've finalized contracts, etc. They will announce them (if they are coming of course) when that happens I'm sure. :)

Has there been any update regarding the tea party/tea party-like event? Now that a preliminary panel schedule has been released, I am worried that one of my panels may conflict since it's tentatively scheduled for Sunday morning (around the same time as the Angelic Pretty tea party was last year).

Yeah, the panel I'm worried about is a Japanese street fashion panel (about the non-Lolita styles, but I assume there would be a lot of overlap with another Lolita event, and both panelists are Lolitas) scheduled for Sunday morning, and then there's the panel about Lolita fashion design that afternoon.

I'll make sure to work with the Panel Dept. to schedule the special event. We may have to move some things around to make sure there isn't a conflict with similarly tracked events.

I came into some money recently so if there is a AP tea party I can actually get an outfit and participate this year <3 Really looking forward to it. Seconding the "the sooner we know the better" responses so we can buy our clothes ^^

I see the main site crashed and has been down for hours because of the Kalafina tickets being released. Oh God, I hope that doesn't happen when the AP tickets go up. T_T

Sadly, there will be no AP guests this year. I heard this info from an AP USA employee. :(

Please don't spread rumors, no matter where you heard it from. Nothing is official until ACen says its so. It doesn't mean there won't be a tea party, but it doesn't mean there will be. El Ken said that he as working on something but it wasnt official. He also said something similar to the teaparty-he did not confirm it would be one.

There will be an AP/ Chantilly/ Atelier-Pierrot booth like last year. There is still a possibility that the tea party is hosted by AP, since nothing has been said either way, however, my guess is that the "tea party like event" will be hosted by Chantilly, Atelier-Pierrot or both.
