[Twilight Sparkle]

Hello all!
I just wanted to try and organize the meetup/group shoot of all the people who will be cosplaying as MLP chracters.
I, myself, am going as Twilight, Vinyl Scratch, and possibly Fleur De Lis!

It has been announced! We have the Garden/Con Center Lobby from 2:00 until 2:30 and Saturday at the Tower Overhang 4:00 until 5:00! Please be prompt!

Please, feel free to chat in the thread about your cosplays or ask for help/ideas, last years gathering, or just general questions for me personally.
I want to keep this thread as active as possible so more people learn about it and I can make it a fantastic experience for all you bronies and pegasisters!

I am coming with a large group of pony people and we all plan on doing multiple ponys.
And I feel you on the re-doing! I am getting a new Twilight wig and re-vamping her entire outfit I had for her.

Also, I had to make the heart-wrenching choice between Rarity, Octavia, and Princess Luna as best pony. Princess Luna won out and now the vote for her has been doubled!

Yeah, he is. The 11th's, if I'm correct. I haven't decided on a prop yet for Derpy. I'm thinking of a giant muffin pillow XD

I am currently working on my fluttershy gala cosplay. so i will be going as her, my boyfriend is going to try to find a red suit so he can be my spiffy big mac and my sister will be nightmare moon! we would love to be apart of the photoshoot!

A muffin pillow is an awesome idea! If you are making it, you should make it a show replica! Or you could bring a box of mini muffins, or a huge real muffin!

Woo! Our first Gala dress cosplayer! I really love the Gala dresses and plan to make Twilights for this years Bonycon.

shes gonna be more of a battle ready nightmare moon with armor and a weapon. is someone going to set up a photoshoot? i wouldnt be able to run one but i was wondering

There will be a professional photographer! She is my friend, so she doesn't have the fancy lighting going for her. But everything she is doing will be free! And even if she flakes I have a DSLR Canon Camera myself, so we could get those "professional" looking pictures easily.

That's cool! Do you have a date set for the photo shoot? Or are you guys still figuring that out?

I would probably just do it with the gathering. That way if we get like a Discord and a Queen Chrysalis, your sister and all of them could get a MLP Villains shoot together. And say if all the Mane Six showed up, I would love to get a picture with all of them!
Plus, as this is my first year, and I think ACens first year, for a MLP gathering I would love to get a group shot of all of us and have it developed and signed by most of you before the con is over. I am a sentimental girl like that.

They had a MLP gathering last year and let's just say....

Thanks for the warning. I asked for them to put us where ever they could really but would like an outside area the most.
Also if you could tell me how many people you thought were there, that would be wonderful.
I was president of my high school's Japanese club for 2 years and those kids were so loud.

My friend and I will be Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, we would love to join in!
I was also at last years MLP gathering, it was very loud, rowdy and didn't seem under control, small space for a big crowd. One of the Pinkie pies brought confetti and threw it everywhere, it was a mess
Definitely some rules needed to be laid down or something, like noise level, but I would still love to join the gathering! It will be fun.

Thanks so much for the info and participating in the thread! As I told linlindesu, this wouldn't be my first time running a large group of rowdy people.
I have been thinking about rules the past few days, in fact. Just your simple ones. Like respect each other and their boundaries, just because you are Cupcake!Pinkie Pie doesn't mean you can go attack that awesome Rainbow Dash things like that. For the actual part of the gathering, it would be fine to have conversations and things, but once we start the photoshoot not to allow much talking so people can hear their characters name called and the like. Like I said, simple rules.
And how disrespectful of that Pinkie! Did she not even try to help clean it up?!
