So it looks like the most people can do sometime on Saturday. Unfortunately, that might leave out a couple (Merry and Pippin I hope I see you two walking around at least!), so feel free to organize amongst yourselves if some of you want to hang out Friday or something.

As to the shoot, I have been thinking, tentatively 2 or 3 PM Saturday. Does anyone have strong opinions on this?

Hey all, I'm just going to bring this post back up because it would be great if we could get a feel for when to have our meetup.

I was thinking Saturday at 3, place to be determined. I'm also cool with exchanging phone numbers with people, just in case of any last minute changes.

I really love Thranduil's portrayal in The Hobbit so while I don't have the time this year to do it, I might go ahead and do it next year. Gonna be a little hard since the only elf ears I've seen are Caucasian and I am...not. lol. But I do hope that this comes together! I really want to see!

Okay, I'm gonna say we're doing this Saturday at 3! Location to follow when we know the main schedule/where other groups are going to be.

Anywhere but the loading docks. Other than that I don't have any real preference.

It really would be nice to see where the other groups are going to be orz
or at least what areas are for sure not off limits.

Sorry for the double post but I just saw that the Hobbit shoot was put on the official gatherings list for 2:30.

I'll try to make it but I may be late since I planned to eat then change into Bofur /cries/ At least the Garden is a good area.

So yeah, we are officially on the gathering list at 2:30 in the Garden area (or the Con center lobby in case of rain)!
