GL to all that want to lose the weight :) Just stick with it, even if you dont see the results immediately. I'm also working on this, down 71 lbs so far and proud of it!

Started Oct 2011. I was down about about 40 or so by June 2012 when I started my new job. Since then I haven't had as much time to work out, but still ate healthy except for the occasional friday night out. Though I dropped 15 lbs on my 3 week trip to japan on its own due to soooo much walking/me being picky on food.

The first few months are hard, but once you get in a pattern it feels weird NOT to exercise.

Personally, I do not believe in Resolutions, just more so improving yourself over the next year without reflect on the resolutions themselves.

However, if you must need to know, here are my con resolutions:

Go to more out-of-town/state conventions - Yeah, going to cons in my hometown is fun and all but I kinda wanna travel to different cities in the course of my life. ACen is going to be my first out-of-town convention.

Lose Weight - I'm already eating less these days so that's a start. I need to start working out. I wanna lose at least 10 pounds by ACen. 20 seems a bit out of reach right now.

More cosplays - A general one but I wanna do more than just 1-2 cosplay a year. 3-5 would be fine.

Learn to drive - Why is this con related? Because again, I want to travel around the nation going to different cons and learning how to drive would help that greatly. Yeah, I can catch a train but I'm a highway man.
ACen 2014 Cosplay List (Final)

Goat-Kun (Umineko no Naku Koro Ni) - Friday
Garterbelt (Panty and Stocking) - Saturday
Coach (Left 4 Dead 2) - Thursay (maybe), Saturday

I have four:

1) Get to 120lbs. I haven't been at this weight since college (yes, I am one of those "I wanna fit in my college jeans" people), and I really want to get back to that - even if I have about 90 lbs to lose. I want to be able to move as well as I used to, and I want to be able to ride with James on his motorcycle without weighing the poor thing down too much.

2) Get a new (or at least a better) car. My 2000 Saturn SC2 just hit 101k, and it has a horrible sense of timing when it comes to throwing issues at me. (Whether it's all general maintenance or not.) Even my repair guy/landlord's hinted that I should look into getting a new car. Thus, that's where any money I can set aside is gonna go.

3) Get a new bike. I have one, but as I discovered this summer, it's too tall for me to ride comfortably. This doesn't exactly help when I actually want to learn how to properly ride, period. (I stopped at the training-wheel level when I was a kid because yes, I was too damn scared to take them off.) Plus, finally learning to ride this - as well as learning how to drive with a manual transmission - will be a huge stepping stone if I ever decide to get a motorcycle of my own.

4) Learn to handle a gun. Since my husband and I are getting FOID cards, it's only fitting that I learn how to use a firearm! Not sure what I'll start off with, and I won't be buying a gun for a good while yet, but either way I'm most definitely not going to skip levels, no sir.

I'm with you on that. There's nothing way worse, than getting "con plague". I always take precautions when going to ACen or any other con. I'm not taking no chances.

If you can get a referral to one, I recommend a dermatologist, mine helped me so much, I have the clearest skin since I can remember now...

I don't really do resolutions but there is a "stuff I gotta do by the end of the year" list

Finish the ASOIAF series. Our copy of Feast for Crows was a misprint so 50 pages of it suddenly became Clash of Kings.

FINALLY get the whole house clean. I've been a house wife for 3 months but never been able to keep everything clean. At first it was the house paperwork. Then it was all the Christmas stuff. Now it's chaos of wedding stuff, anything KenKendazo left over at his parents that they finally needed out, and I don't even wanna think of the messes of stress brownies and frozen chicken wing boxes in my kitchen.
But once I'm back from Disney, I'm getting my library back >:0

Get internet. been "borrowing" my neighbors ( hey, no password is fair game... right?) for months because whenever I'd stop to think about calling AT&T something else would pop up.
I have a Bookface I have a Bird Sound my snark level is over 9000 : ]
2014 Cosplay (mayhaps?)
Compa- hyperdimension nep nep
Heather- Silent hill 3
Poison Ivy- Batman

This is actually something a friend suggested to me the other day. My husband and I have been meaning to give our apartment a heavy-duty dose of spring cleaning for a long time now, but we've never gotten up off our butts and done it. Combined with some gentle nagging on my dad's part to get my old stuff out of the house, it's high time we got the apartment clean and organized.

I started working on my weight loss resolution last monday, and I'm already down 14 pounds and 6 pants sizes. Now, I know this is only because I have a serious amount of weight to lose, but I'm quite happy things are going so well...

I think lately I have the same goals as everyone else here... not gain more weight, and go to more conventions, lol! :) I think if I go to more conventions I'll find myself exercising more in doing so though.... so in the end, I just need to go to more conventions. Many more. :)
I manage the list of Anime Conventions on UpcomingCons.com
Conventions Attending: ACen, Ohayocon, NebrasKon, Anime-zing! 2012, and Anime Midwest Chicago and Anime-ZAP! in Peoria, Illinois.
