I planned on offering to people I know first, otherwise, I was just going to make a thread, and make it first come, first served, assuming any interested party doesn't have some obvious issue that would make rooming with said person difficult.

Certain criteria were a little off , we talked and we agreed on if i can find another room with the right criteria. and they said no problem its still a ways to go so they were like to hold my spot so if i dont find another room in time they would have one for me.

In most rooms,especially if you've never been to ACen will have people who knows each other...lol

That was how it was for me at last ACen; everyone I was rooming with already knew each other, and I didn't know anyone. I just looked at it as a great chance to get to meet some new people, and it was. I had a great time getting to make some new friends. :3

It is a good way to make friends.You get to know everyone before you get to the con via facebook,skype,email and then everyone is comfortable,heck thats how I met two of my best friends.They roomed with me for the first time,but prior to that we got to know each other.I mean if you are looking for a room still at this point you need to try and take what you can get and not be so picky because at certain cons those who didn't book can't really demand and expect too much from offers and whatnot...lol

Its still quite a bit away so I have time , if I dont find a room ,someone already offered I told them the closer it gets and I dont find one ill room with them

My room needs one more person. The three of us know each other, but the one girl rooming with us we met at Youmacon, so we're pretty familiar to making con-friends.

It's a king sized room in the Hyatt. We all agreed that two people would get the bed one night, & the other two the other night.
