Well the latest rumor has it that the house of mouse is possibly seeking to bring Hasbro into the fold.

Now we all know by now that Disney scouped up Lucasarts. That was a big deal. Hasbro? Well, if that happens..I say this may be potentially bigger.

Here is a small grab bag of properties Disney could gain rights to:
Transformers
GI Joe
My Little Pony
Hasbro Games
Wizards of the Coast (D&D, Magic: The Gathering)

Just how much money does Mickey have stashed away there?

How long till they decide to go after big ole Mattel?

Possibility of My Little Pony Land would be awesome. Though if for some reason this was true, it would be more so for the sake of Transformers and what have you...
LOL, sorry but this actually is kinda common, they've bought out many companies over the years. Hell, they had the rights to the power rangers for awhile...

True, they have..but two high profile ones in such a short period of time, with high costs attached to them, seems a little more out of the ordinary.

Still even if they are trying to get Hasbro, it'll be a good few years til all the legal stuff is worked out. ( Film rights and what have you )
I'm not so sure if they'd buy Mattel but they have collaborated in the past ( Fancy Disney Barbies and Barbie in Toy Story , etc.) I'd be pissed though. Not so much that disney would ruin mattel but mattel ruin disney merch.

There is also the Japanese. Remember Disney doesn't own Nintendo or Sega.

oh god could you imagine if they did buy hasbro and Square Enix? Kingdom hearts goes from a long awaited finale of a series to literally a video game that travels thru nostalgia and will never freaking end.

Yeah, Kingdom Hearts could be absolutely nuts...but Hasbro has recently debunked this rumor. At the very least, Kingdom Wars or Star Hearts. Actually, hey Disney...bring back X-Wing.

It would be interesting if....Disney took over Sony though. Or SE as mentioned. Can you image the among of milking?

Actually who knows? Disney isn't as bad as say Crapcom or Nintendo.

Doubtful. Disney may be great with movies in it's pixar side of movies and are amazing with theme parks but video games?....wouldn't say that is their strong suit. I mean the only geniune good disney game besides Kingdom hearts I can think of Epic Mickey.

Yeah cuz we can totally trust corporate suits to tell us the truth right? There are always backrooms talks at the least if no deals are in the works yet. I'll still hold my suspisions.

Logic dictates that you do not believe a claim until there is evidence for said claim. There is no evidence for this claim and there is some evidence against it. So the proper thought is to disbelieve this until evidence is presented to confirm it.

Who would be more trustworthy? A scientist? Or a corporate suit? Look, I barely trust people that I meet in average everday world. Let alone someone who's job it is to soley make their company bigger by any and all means nessicary.

I'm not gonna go around screaming "Disney is still buying Hasbro!" But I'll still believe both parties wouldn't mind the racking in of cash it would get them. So i won't be surprised if this does turn out to become fact later on.
