If you're coming from Arizona, it'll take you about 24-26 hours to get to Chicago. If you still don't have any place to stay, try and talk to one of the Amtrak representatives or someone who works at Union Station. (If nothing else, try a policeman.) They might could direct you to a shelter. It's not perfect and no fun, but it's better than being on the street. The trains usually arrive in the afternoon, so barring delays, you at least should have some daylight left.
I wish I could help you more, but I'm in Montana...why do you have to get back to Chicago in such a hurry?

^was going to recommend this myself, as it's right by where i work, and super-cheap.
plenty of travelers from out of town, or out of the country, stay there; supposedly, it's plenty nice for the price, too.

You don't have any other family members who can help anywhere? At least until you get another job? Or maybe you can try working in their house, etc.
Because the only option you have for free is a shelter here and a shelter isn't the best thing around. But you can try to get section 8 but you would have to stay in a shelter for a least a year before you get that.

My family pretty much abandoned me, as for lili, her family hates me and most likely wont help just because of me. dont like the idea of a shelter but might be the only thing that we can do. I hate this so much that we cant get help and no one can help.

Yor, take a deep breath and think this through.
First: will the shelters take you and your lady separately? If so, then that's what you do. You do not want to be on the streets in Chicago; even I (country bumpkin that I am) know that. In a shelter, you have a roof over your head and something to eat. You may be separated for a bit, but that beats freezing and starving, to say nothing of dealing with God knows what on the streets.
Second: what skills do you have? You'll have to find a job. There must be assistance for people like you in Chicago; it's a big city. It may end up being janitorial, temporary, or a McJob, but whatever gets the cash flow going. You did have something of a job in Arizona, because you mentioned a paycheck. Can you draw unemployment? Food stamps? Welfare? (I don't know how Illinois works regarding residency.)
Third: is there any way to reconcile with your brother-in-law or mother? I don't know what happened there and I won't speculate (none of my business), but informing them that you're literally on the street might change their minds about putting you there. I'm not sure what your mother thought would happen to you by essentially sending you on a one-way trip to Chicago. See if you can change their minds.
Fourth: don't give up. Keep fighting. Easy for me to say, sitting on my butt behind a computer in Montana with steady work...but I have been in a situation similar to yours (though not as bad). I managed to find a way out. You can too.
Wish I could do more for you than just encouragement, man. I do have some friends in northern Indiana. They couldn't take you in, but depending on your skill set, they might could point you in the right direction.
Keep us in the loop if you can, but above all, don't give up.

1st: no, no shelter will allow us to stay together once we get in their doors, and spliting us up would damn near kill her, i wont let that happen.
2nd: i had a job in az, but only for 2 weeks, not long enough to get unemployment, as for food stamps, we need to set them back up.
3rd: no way in hell, they know what they were doign when they shipped us back here, my mom has a cold heart and doesnt even care for her only son.
4th, i havent yet, if i had given up, i would not be here typing this up right now.

"Damn near kill her" is not the same as "kill her." If this is the only option keeping you from a freezing Chicago winter, I think it is going to be your best bet. You will still have each other in some degree even if you are apart. I think this is one bullet you and her have to bite until your teeth crack and your jaw gets sore.

1) See KirbyFan's reply. As far as family shelters go, I see two here on this list: Chicago Shelter List Admittedly, I don't know their parameters. Local churches might also be a possibility.
2) Were you fired from the job? If not, I think you can draw unemployment. I'm only going off what is done here in MT.
3) No way I can comment on that not knowing the situation, and it's none of my business.
4) Good.
What skills do you have? There might be people on the board who know of job openings.

Can't help much a for shelters since I live bout 50 miles south. I'll try asking a few friends that live in Chicago.
As for food, near the end of the nite try any non-24hr fast food. From experience when I was homeless, they normally have food that otherwise gets thrown out.
Sadly won't be attending ACen 2012. So I'll be taking my cosplay up a notch for 2013.
